Ya know what. As long as Chris releases Something i'm fine with it. Ive found nothing wrong with the first three "Unoffical" albums by flaw, then Through the Eyes, Endangered Species and the Homegrown is awesome. Five.bolt, main just blows me away and his solo stuff is great too. I don't care if i never hear a song like Through the Eyes cuz i'll just listen to that album if i want to hear stuff like that. as long as he comes out with fresh stuff that touches me like this song, we should be happy
chris says that a new flaw album is due out by march or april.... he also says fbm is releasing new material... unfortunetly ive heard this before... def a procrasinator, i know i cant spell....i love flaw/foundation/five bolt main, but not gonna count on a rush on new material, this song is def one of the best on the album, i do agree that it sounds like it was recorded in a basement, but tracks like concealed, blood red sky, and sick disease, you cant deny the rawness of it..same flaw emotions
FLAW is AWESOME!! I'm always gonna be a fan. Hey guys, if you guys love FLAW you should check out this band that I found on facebook called "Ghost of April". They're as good as FLAW in my opinion. Check them out. They even gave me a free CD of theirs. LOVE FLAW!!
grow up people, real music is demos. when you play music with a band it doesnt sound like a perfeect studio song, real music fans wont condemn this for quality which isnt even bad theres been wayyy worse demos for gods sake
flaw is kickass. they dont even need a top notch studio to sound good. this sounds like something i could make with my amps and a 35$ usb mic, but i couldnt make it sound half as good as this. LOL. i think his voice is what makes it work.
Why so much hate towards this? I love the "rawness" of it. Not overproduced like others have said. The simpleness of it makes you actually listen closer, in my opinion.
Somebodys victim is the best song on the album in my thoughts but i am just glad to see most of the orginal band back on stage....and welcome Andy to flaw, that little bastard can shread a guitar
i was honored to hang out with them here in ohio good group of guys and all will be one of my biggest influences
I love flaw and the new material is great. And this is only a taste of whats to come. They're going to release better versions of all these songs. They just had an overwhelming demand for new stuff. So this is the beggining of flaws comeback!
@texasproof Um it was awhile ago so not too sure. Flaw seems to work at a slow pace (notice the lengthy 3 1/2 year period between Through the Eyes and Endangered Species). I had just heard talk that they'd re-release these songs on a studio album with good production and better quality but that was like a year ago... Just keep Flaw in your prayers and let's hope we get to hear more of Chris's wonderful voice soon!!!
There "old shit" can only take them so far. They need to evolve and grow. This album shows what there capable of doing on there own with no pro-tools, no "rock" procducer and no record label. This record shows how well they can write songs that invoke all kinds of emotions. Thats what I got from it, not that it didn't sound like something else.
i agree that they definitley had to show their talent without the label and producers, but i disagree with your first sentence. Their "old shit" could've gone very far. It's amazing they didn't get big off those 2 albums. I think they should've had one more harder album before doing this tho. And I wouldn't call it maturing... It's just different.
same with the song walls.... the music was great by the lyrics just werent on beat in my opinion, somethin jsut wasnt fitting But man i heard about these guys from my ex like years ago, they're awesom, i personally like their older stuff better tho, some of their new songs are good though ^^
Somebody's Victim is the only song thats real well written...it seems they put this together in too much of a hurry. The stuff he was writing in Foundation was awesome, but this is disappointing, and the quality sucks. Still support them tho, they are one of my fav bands cuz of Endangered and TTE

I love the album but you have to look inside it to find where it is
blood red sky is hard to swallow
One thing i just thought of was to think of the Phrase "Cup O soup" in stead of blood red sky
on the surface the album is fucking annoying but up close its wonderful
