  • Why carry a newspaper when you can carry a piece of plastic attached to the CPU of a supercomputer!

  • @supersaxophone1 Supercomputer? What are you on about?

  • Harry Potter is nigh!

  • it's a great technological achievement, but i don't know a good reason to bend my reading display...

  • The paperboy is becoming extinct! E-newspapers!

  • wow this is the REAL paper!

  • They've just announced that it won't retail until early 2011

  • @choomanfoo guess what, its now 2011

  • @DekayDub guess what; I was just guessing when I posted that back a year ago. I had been following it's progress for some time and had got fed up with all the postponements.

I believe they may now have called the whole thing off all together.

  • @choomanfoo what? its already out now though

  • @DekayDub Sadly it isn't. This is from their website: Plastic Logic today announced it is revising its product strategy and plans to shift its focus to bring to market a second-generation ProReader plastic electronics-based product. The company said it has cancelled its QUE product, which it debuted at CES in January 2010 and planned to ship earlier this year.

  • @choomanfoo if plastic logic announced that they are not releasing it that doesn't matter, sony has OLED out now, same thing in color pretty much

  • @DekayDub same story; it doesn't exist yet as a consumer product. What's your interest in promoting the illusion that such prototypes are already on the market?

  • @choomanfoo they are though, sony OLED tvs are already out

  • @DekayDub you're continually changing the subject. We are discussing eReaders not TVs.

Everything you've claimed so far concerning eReaders has been a fantasy of your own making; get a grip!

  • @choomanfoo i thought we were talking about the technology, not the products that had it, i was simply saying that the technology was already out on t.v's eReaders are most likely still coming out

  • @choomanfoo um, it's 2011 where is it?

  • @ilovefunnyvideos216 I was kidding when I said 2011, as I'd seen it delayed so many times before. I believe they've dropped the whole project altogether now.

I guess I wasn't being cynical enough. Have a great day!

  • @choomanfoo its late 2011 lol

  • @TvBroadcasted I know; pathetic isn't it?

  • would be a great product if it didn;t come attched to those huge gadgets essential to make it function...

  • there not going to sell it with those gadgets... thats just how they prototype eletronics.

  • Watch the new demos, this is 3 years old.

  • @ekszentrik Ok, where are the new demo videos though? Ty.

  • @ekszentrik 5 already

  • @ekszentrik: now it's 5 and a half years old. the most actual video: /watch?v=DvCS4v8XMYQ

  • hiii,, i just wanted to know!!

    is this product out yet!!???????

  • not yet

  • amazing!

  • Pricing? PDF support?

  • yes. it supports pdf

    check out engadget!!

  • could you pm me a link?

  • Danke für das Video sagt aachen-united

  • So few comments for so many views o_o

  • How great

  • interesting that would be excellent when incorperated with clothing, maybe a screen on the inside of your sleeve? I'd by it

  • ugg still only black and white :P, get it in full 32 bit color and then talk to me

  • Oh pal!!!! you have shit on your head. This is a brilliant invention and you just figure to say that??? TELL ME, WHAT DID YOU DO FOR HUMANITY???

  • :P U mean 24-bits....

btw, they have done that by adding color filters over it, so rgb is not too far away, it's just with the application, being more like a book than a video screen, it's not worth it yet to make it color.

  • at least 16bit color woud be good , any color wood be good
