@didier309 i would like to know why you say that he is a bad pilot... this glider is giant, and are a bit tricky when they are landing...and take off with this systen(pilon motor)
is tricky too because the nose goes down when full throtle... so i dont see any dangerous here :S
I have flown a couple of sailplanes with this type of SLS with mixed results, they can be tempermental. But correctly adjusted and always preflighted, especially for prop security, they are worth the bucks. For those who want to know how many servos, usually 1 for the SLS arm, 1 for each door, but all are connected through a sequencing unit that connects to one servo port on the reciever! That unit throttles motor up and down, opens and closes the doors on schedule and actuates the Arm.
