advice to anybody interested in buying this computer,..DONT, i waqs drawn in by the sexy look and the cool touchscreen, and spent 1100 euro on it, one year later im regreting ever buying it, because of its slip compact all in one design its easy to assume this is a great idea and a step forward in how PC's are made, but its not!, its compact design is its own worse enemy, unlike other computers, you cant open the IQ500 to clean the fan, thus it gets very hot and very loud,...dont make my mistake

I have one of these but the IQ800 it is probably one of the nicest computer ever so much like Apple Mac but Touch screen which makes it fun to use, but really expensive though.

i had a go on one and they are very responsive but maybe needs a stylus but because i had a go at one in a shop, if it came with a stylus they wouldn't have put it out. but overall it seems excellent.

@JCruz090 i have 2 frnds who have this computer, and so far from both theire experience, they say its been nothing but trouble... the screen touch is laggy and pretty much unsuable (unlike the videos and demos which show the contrary), lack in built quality (parts like the corner plastic falling off) and the other usual software windows issues... all this in 3-4 months for both of them... the iMac on the other hand.... no problem for me ;)

the iQ800 series has little improvements, such as mentioned before: pocket media bay, changeable ambient light colours,...

if you have enough room to put it, i would get an iq800 (they didn't have these in the store i went to buy mine)!

No. its not. I have the IQ522sc version and its not actually touch. I think it is heat or somethings so it registers the touch before it hits the screen and it has poor detection when you touch the screen. maby it would be good with a pen or something but not with your finger. :(

its not by heat. there are signals that pass in front of the screen.if u look around ur screen u will notice that there is a gap of glass. they send signals side 2 side & up n down. when u touch the glass u interrupt the signal and the computer calculates exactly where the signal was was stopped thus creating the illusion u touched the screen. u break the signal before touching the screen and thats why that happens.try calibrating ur touch and u can use smaller objects like a pencil =)

1. You can always uninstall norton using the norton removal tool.

2. It also comes with a wireless mouse and keyboard set with a recessed USB receiver.

3. Not actaully a touchscreen. It has IR cameras.

4. If you want the latest model then you need to look at the IQ800 series. Comes with features that the IQ500 doesn't have such as a pocket media bay and changing the ambient light colours.

try using a touch screen with an over streched arm. there no good for desktop use but better for standing use for presentations. At a desk the user will be to far seated to make ergonomic sense.
