Actually for a Japanese movie this wasn't as good as I expected it to be. It was pretty predicable and it depended more of scares and scary music rather the plot. It had more of an american feel to it instead. Abit disappointing actually

While Nana waits for the train, she turns and sees Kanae (also dressed in a school uniform) sitting on the bench, smiling at her, as if saying "You are a true friend, I will be with you always". Nana is then distracted by a train whistle. When she looks at the bench again, Kanae is gone. Nana smiles and then the credits roll. For once in a J-horror, the undead don't win...a rare happy ending!

This wasn't really much scary like the big ones (the grudge, the ring etc.) but a good movie. The Japanese can sure make a good horror movie unlike the americans where it's all gruesome murder.

Moral of the story: Don't pick up jewelry that doesn't belong to you or angry spirits will drag you onto train tracks. I'm glad that Kanae's death served a purpose; I was greatly saddened by her death.
