not to mention ronnie weighs over 300lbs during the off season. you've got crazy strength bro, hopefully your just doin the teachin thing to pay for your gym membership, i better see your name in some powerlifting events comin up.
well rwsmith3623 I've been teaching for 14 years now, and it seems as though I'm going to make a career out of it since it's what I went to college for, but the gym turned into something I never expected..now I 38 almost 39, I have about 9 more good years before I'm going to go after the beach body, but this is a good foundation for that, if my body says go more you bet i will thanks for the positive acknowledgment rwsmith3623
hopefully you didnt think i was tryin to dog on you for bein a teacher. because i respect it, hell i wouldnt be where im at now if it wasnt for some of my teachers. all im sayin man is you've got some serioius strength. even with your age, you could do some serious damage at local powerlifting events.
It looks like you're stopping right above parallel on the squats, but it could just be the angle. I usually go ATG, but I'm not lifting 4 plates on squats haha.
how do you not get injured? you press a lot of weight on everything you do. I used to lift heavy and injured my shoulder, and your lifting beyond heavy. You taking glucosimine or something?
I've been fortunate really my mega man sport has glucosimine in it, but i've only been taking them for 1 month. Bascially I've been lifting for 9years straight. I've given my tendons time to develop along with my muscles is the reason why I feel I don't get injured and I warm up as well, plus my form isn't mediocore. Proper form will produce proper development. Diet is also key as well.
good squats just widen your stance a bit more and when your sqauting hold the bar with your whole hand cause one guy at my powerlifting club droped it when he was griping it like that on the back sqauts i mean and take a big breath before coming down on the squats good work man keep it up
tHANKS, I'VE EVEN GONE HEAVIER ON THE BACK SQUATS WITH THAT GRIP, BUT SURE I'LL CHANGE IT UP, I'VE SEEN DROPPED BENCH BECAUSE OF THE THUMB NOT WRAPPED, BUT I'LL DEFINATELY CHANGE THAT TO A FULL GRIP THOUGH THANKS GGTH34
You OD'd on your legs. No rest after 315 and 405 squats.. damn. BTW did you see Ronnie Colemans 2300 leg press? Pretty crazy. Nonetheless, these vids are pretty fkin impressive.
in the reverse pyramid part the weight should be about 1000. ten 45's is 450. well 450x2= 900 and if the sled itself weighs maybe 100 pounds then you got 1000
Yeah you are right about the weight, but I didn't know how much the sled weighed, so I decided to go with just the weight that I was sure of for the video.
fag can't squat...

Well, after I put the weight on I went and got water and stuff so I'd say about 3 minutes or so unlike my 10 minutes from heavy day chest.

Do you do power or hang cleans?
mattboy23 4 years ago
Yeah I did clean, jerks, and snatches about 3 months ago.
