But he was a full grown adult at the time when he got to the U.S. most adult don't lose their accents when they live in a new place. Children from other countries lose their accent when they come to a new place because they still develop their verbal skills. While adults most at least have a harder time losing their cultural identity due to their verbal skills being fully developed from their old country.

It sucks that Van Damme couldn't make it. Dolph has made a movie with him back in the day (Universal Soldier) it would've been cool seeing them in a movie again. Plus, Van Damme is a great martial artist! anyone who saw Bloodsport or Kickboxer knows what I'm talking about.

Anyway, of course, it's just a movie; I simply thought, even within the film, it was odd and inexplicable that Lundgren's character spontaneously showed up alive-and-well, at the end.

The guy is super intelligent, has a degree, speaks different languages. Was a martial arts Champion with various titles, Hollywood creates actions heros who are not really action heros, this guy is more than qualified!
