The whole point to Gantz is *spoiler* Mission Catastrophe. the last mission. The people who leave Gantz are the losers and the people who acquire the better weapons are the heroes and the saviors of the earth. They are basically training for the apocalyptic stage in Gantz the last phase. This manga IS DA BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!!!

Does anyone know any themes for gantz? My bro says one is not to be stupid becuz if they didn't save the old man in the first place they wouldn't be there. I say one of the themes is savagery. When they met with the other team they didn't work together that well and throughout the series the gantz member were complete savages. Another theme might what comes around turns around. I think the last gantz mission was extremely hard becuz the members kill alot of aliens. Btw im only 13. i am mature

Yes, the first setting itself is not novel always but after all, this is so better than I thought . (I'm in vol.19 now but yeah, this is real)

At least you have to read till vol.19, unless you don't like the taste of this IMO.

This manga's pretty good to me. I also noticed some of the problems that people are having reading would be solved if u read with a open mind. As for me the whole naked thing was a stretch but i compared that to what we do to animals now and it made since. And as far as the pshycic and vampire thing ehhh the pshycic became badass and the vampire is a aquired taste lol

I feel your pain bro, the psychic guy & vampires sounds really gay. My favourite manga was Berserk until a stupid witch, 12yo clown & a brain-dead rape victim becomes centre of attention.

I like gantz but after *everything changed* it got kind of bland. Its picking up again but I woul still sugest reading it all at once for... FULL EFFECT. AVOID READING THE FIRST 1.7-2.5 PHASES WITH LARGE GAPS INBETWEEN.

Cool bro! I love Gantz even though they added some random things like vampires and all.... but dude, keep reading. It gets so freakin crazy! The Osaka Mission which you're not at yet is soooo BEASTLY! And what happens in Phase 3 is ungodly EPIC!! Give it a chance dude its awesome. You can read Gantz for free at Spectrum Nexus... just type in Gantz Manga on Google and it should bring up spectrum nexus. Hope you'll give it a shot dude :)
