I always remember this very lovely cartoon with warm heart which was broadcasted in our country, Hungary. I loved this little duck so much. It's an anime in Dutch and japanese coproduction. In my ages when I was a kid no one knows what's an anime... :D

Actually, that is a little mistake of the English version. Hank´s grandfather was called Alfred, yes, but not Jonathan. He was called Jodocus, word that means "naughty".

omg i absolutely loved this as a young kid. i have been looking for any vids or pics everywhere. i was frustrated for years becuase i couldn't remember the name of Alfred. Does anybody know where to find the DVD's ? one of the saddest cartoons iv seen awell
