Oh, I'd say he slays plenty of sacred cows on the left throughout. IMO, this series is insightful precisely because it 'fleshes out' market forces from an abstract to the people and power relations that take place. Wouldn't you say that is a form of analysis rather than a political position?

I'd say in a lot of cases I'd say the analysis was pretty objective. What possible conclusion can one draw from this episode, apart from markets are dangerous and must be controlled?

Well, as the recent economic crash demonstrated, we never learn from our mistakes, and we keep on cutting regulation and giving power to megalomaniacal idiots obsessed with profit.
