This video is not very accurate really now is it. Please can you tell me which serieis of the Epson TMT88 this is? Th verion V which has been on sale for nearly 2 years prints at 300mm per second, 4 year warranty and is one of the most cost competative printers for the retail thermal printing market. It even has the ability to automatically reduce receipt margins and font to save on paper.
I interact with Epson TM-T88 printers every single day, and even the first generation ones print significantly faster than the one in this video. It is my opinion that either there is something wrong with the TM-T88 here or it could have been modified in some way. None of the ones I have ever seen print as slowly as the one in this vid.
nice trick. Epson printer work thru RS-232 interface with standart 9600 baud rate. It's not slow printer, it just slow data transmission.

t88iv refer print speed at 220-240 , prowill at 250
not more difference like this.

Yep.
It's like the first printer started earlier and is like "yeah, I'm gonna beat you."
Then the second printer is like "oh, yeah? WATCH THIS!"
