The mind boggles as to how this myth is kept up about America being such a great world leading country in practically every field when it cannot even take care of it's own most weak and vulnerable members of society. Even Cuba has a better healthcare record than the US. Also, I know someone who only began to significantly improve after 6 painful years of this illness so I'm quite wary of people claiming recovery can only happen within the first 5 years.
Shelley needs to be the spokesperson for all of us that are nearing 60 without insurance as it is so costly. This is a travesty. There are no words for the atrocity of our so called system - THERE IS NO SYSTEM - only greed.
