I don't understand, what the name ("Hymena" or "Chimena"?) of the "wild woman of the sea" refers to. The geographical meaning of Gabriel and Catalina is obvious, but what about Chimena? Coud anyone with a deeper knowledge of the local circumstances plesae enlighten me? Thanks in advance!
@videodin for the answer to that, look up the weather reports for Southern California , or more specifically, Baja California, Mexico, around Late September or early October of 2009. You are looking for a large weather event.
Oooo...it's like a whole new Greco-Roman myth. Awesome! I like this. And I like how Apollo is the last god mentioned shining down upon Gabriel. Apollo is my fave. I get the sense this story is a reminder to watch our ego, that it doesn't get out of control and we lose our sense of unity with all things, but instead the ego if left unchecked, can become the cause of suffering.
We humans become as Gabriel, building ourselves up high and mighty - forgetting to love the land we call earth, we overcrowd it, we destroy it and it takes an act of mother nature to bring us back down to earth and realize how important it is to care for it first and realize we should not overpower our planet with more than earth can stand. It will take a mighty destruction to make us humble - Worse than 9/11, Katrina, CA earthquakes - but we can recover.
As always Sister Unity the way you tell stories make me shiver. As a British Sign Language interpreter I would Love to sign your stories and show visually the way your "tell" a picture.
Sister Unity, you have done it again. Your storytelling is phenomenal (sorry if I spelt that wrong) and your words have touched me deeply. I wish the trees will grow strong again, and that the Goddess will reunite with the God in the spring to make that land flourish once again.
We here in Australia have recently experienced tragic bushfires leaving hundreds homeless and mass devastation. A very fitting story sister wonderfully told :)
I've just seen pictures of the Sydney dust storm too. Quite incredible! May nature support your lives in peace and may all support nature with harmony.
Well done!

I can't believe they saw fit to ram a millions dollar machine into the moon just to knock it silly and kick up dust! Who did that save??
SisterUnity 2 years ago
The recent paper had the editorial cartoon of two Moon people with one saying to the other - So they have sent a missile - can troops be far behind?
Life is rather dubious - seems the insane are running projects and spending money

Hmm. Despite the description text, I don't recall seeing any images of the fire in the video.
I was very impressed by this original story! I look forward to hearing more. :)
