What a pity one still can't make vibrato by the piano strings themselves!

In that case, another tempo could be taken.

Could anyone affrim me if Villa-Lobos wrote this piece originally for string orchestra and later made a transcription for piano ?

@geertdehoux I think so. At least I have the version for strings and on another CD it comes as 'transcription for piano'.

Yes, I have that (?) CD, too. The conductor is the composer himself, wonderfully performed!!

I 've always had the impression this is a piano transcription.

Nothing against it, of course! At the contrary.
