@oblivionmeister I would suggest reading the Apocrypha and comparing what it says to what the Bible says. The apocrypha is a document that was created in the 400 years between the last book of the Old Testament being inspired and the days of Jesus Christ. The Apocrypha was never canonized(accepted as divinely inspired into the Bible) by either the Jews or the early leaders of the Christian church. So, the Catholic church fully accepts the apocrypha.

@oblivionmeister Also, see if you can find anywhere in the Bible where it says to pray to saints and Mary for intercession to Father God.  I have been reading the Word for quite some time, and I have never seen anything besides praying to Father God.
