I love how each and every Blind Guardian song has a message/story behind it. This, obviously, is about true love between two lovers. Divine Punishment is about a criminally insane murder who is being executed and sees angels and the gates of Heaven in his final moments. Battlefield is (also obviously) about war and fighting to the death. Great music, great band. :D

This is Blind Guardian brand style :) They will prepare you for 2 minutes of the song and then rush in! Compare with Mordred's song, the Eldar, etc. ;)
up to 2:40 it's nice but then sound is sometimes distorted due to clipping... in HQ version its better but still sometimes its really hearable. And I checked it on a pretty good headphones... so watch it only in HQ ^^
Still it's one of my favourite BG songs.
And the ending is one of the best parts of the song i think it fits the tale that is told with it (btw i think it might be Tristan and Iseult)

Actually the bards song (as I think you are meaning by The bard's tale) Is divided into 2 songs, its first "In the forest : The bards song) - The acoustic one. Then it comes the 2nd part (not so famous but still helluva good!!!) called In the forest : The hobbit.. So there ya go, if you combine these 2 it gets around 7 mins I guess.. Not too short heh?
Das ganze Album hat mir nich so recht gefallen. Eindeutig zu weit aum Fenster gelehnt und ZU experimentell.
Denke, BG haben das wohl auch selber gesehen und schnell reagiert. Das nächste Album war wieder besser^^ Weiterentwicklung schön und gut aber das wäre zweifellos in die Falsche Richtung gelaufen. Aber "Twist in the myth" Album

The Forgotten Tales might be their best album. It's sort of a compilation though, so Imaginations takes the win with Somewhere Far Beyound and Nightfall in Middle-Earth being the runner-ups. A Twist is on the same line with Follow the Blind, and they are, in my opinion, two worst albums by BG, although they are pretty great works too. :P I mainly love those older speed metal works more than Twist. It's a very mature album. I think it might even be too mature, making the Guardian sound disappear.

up to 2:40 it's nice but then sound is sometimes distorted due to clipping... in HQ version its better but still sometimes its really hearable. And I checked it on a pretty good headphones... so watch it only in HQ ^^
Still it's one of my favourite BG songs.
And the ending is one of the best parts of the song i think it fits the tale that is told with it (btw i think it might be Tristan and Iseult)

Another excellent song by Blind Gardian... however I somewhat hate how it SHOULD end with the last "Come and take my hand" and how the song begins once again after that.

I think the ending is just perfect... the way it explodes back in your face. It's a nice surprise because it goes against your expectations. Much like the the game of love: you don't always get what you expect. ;)

Actually the bards song (as I think you are meaning by The bard's tale) Is divided into 2 songs, its first "In the forest : The bards song) - The acoustic one. Then it comes the 2nd part (not so famous but still helluva good!!!) called In the forest : The hobbit.. So there ya go, if you combine these 2 it gets around 7 mins I guess.. Not too short heh?

Das ganze Album hat mir nich so recht gefallen. Eindeutig zu weit aum Fenster gelehnt und ZU experimentell.
Denke, BG haben das wohl auch selber gesehen und schnell reagiert. Das nächste Album war wieder besser^^ Weiterentwicklung schön und gut aber das wäre zweifellos in die Falsche Richtung gelaufen. Aber "Twist in the myth" Album
hats ja dann wieder mehr als rausgerissen. Zum Glück

The Forgotten Tales might be their best album. It's sort of a compilation though, so Imaginations takes the win with Somewhere Far Beyound and Nightfall in Middle-Earth being the runner-ups. A Twist is on the same line with Follow the Blind, and they are, in my opinion, two worst albums by BG, although they are pretty great works too. :P I mainly love those older speed metal works more than Twist. It's a very mature album. I think it might even be too mature, making the Guardian sound disappear.
