  • come to think of it, do they ever wear seatbelts in the ship? Sounds like something that could have helped in a few situations...

  • They really should let Ed's dad take care of Vicous and Spike's safe....

  • What's the song in the credits?

  • But..But...No Ed!?

  • @suckafish80 you are frickin awesome.

  • Yoko? As in John Linon's girl? damn! This is her work..awesome.

  • @TheMykcal lol naw, that' yoko ono. this is yoko kanno.

  • @HectorDUribe lol :)

  • WOW Great job. But then, not sure why I should be surprised, every AMV of yours I've seen has been epic. Thanks for the work you put into it, its much appreciated!

  • i love Ein

  • EIN!

  • GG, gives me shiver in the back… just a little disappointed about the short version but SO HUGE mastering of the music and the video.

You are a fan and your vid is proving it the best possible way

    THANKS !

  • I loved it!<3

  • 9 people dont know what planet this is....

  • great tune, jazz hip hop and great scenes from the show!

  • makes me want to watch the whole series again <3

  • Dude, your vids are just too amazing - they actually keep me up when i have a day down, just cause they're so well made. And the Cowboy Bebop ones are best, this one especially.

  • @Itagako thanks!

  • @HectorDUribe lol thanks

  • FLY FLY FLY bored little army FLY FOR YOUR MONEY!! look out for the...sucker!

  • <3 Ein!!!

  • It was fantastic and all but... Where's Ed? 4 out of 5.

  • ok, that fat assasin, theme park episode freaked me THE FUCK OUT.

  • @Hitlo58 I seriously threw up with the giant dog bit >_<

  • GREAT!

  • ah, I love the false ending thing that you cute. :(

  • for gods sake! why the hell people disliking this video?!

  • i cannot wait till i forget enough of this show to watch it again

  • this is my favorite. just..... my favorite. out of everything in the world, this.... is my favorite....

  • Jajaja, es la cancion de zapping..

  • Dope!

  • i think i jizzed within the first few seconds

  • That was incredible.

  • Epic AMV.

  • ... one thing I still have to say is, I'm glad that dog was female... and I bet Spike was, too, when it attatched to his face and made him fall into the water. D:

  • damn straight, bebop FTW!

  • classic

  • yoko kanno is a genius music writer and pianist and the seatbelts is the best jazz band around today

  • man this song is so awesome that if you splice edit any cartoon (the most boring you can think of ) it would still look this BAD-ASS!

  • Dope

  • At some parts in the show, Ein would make their computers work or he would hack into something, but it kinda seemed like it was Spike or Jet that did it...

  • Who is the fat man? 0_0

(He appears to 0:16 at 0:30 minutes)

  • @Zuxiliyum he was the freak that was made via experiments or some shit, he ends up dead at some kind of circus or fair

  • Is it just me or does the opening few seconds sound EXACTLY like the Marvel vs. Capcom 2 character select screen?

  • whats the dogs name?

  • ein

  • Was ein being a "data dog" just like a dog with human intelligence?

  • Nah he was just an unusually smart dog.

  • ein was being the 2ed smartest in the craw apart from edd i think that was the jk lol

  • @KickRox1990 the dogs name is ein

  • Did you know? At the time, Evangelion finished since a couple of years, so there were evangelion clones everywhere: Sunrise itself, which produced mostly Mecha animes, invested a lot of money in the making of an anime, Brain Powered, which was similar to evangelion in themes (like charachter development, mechas, post-apocalyptic society...) and only a small budget was given, to a series tought to be short-living. That series was Cowboy Bebop.

Damn, this makes this masterpiece even more beautiful

  • Bebop was canceled at one point too, due to rising violence in Japanese schools. After enough otaku complaints it was restored.

  • Really? Didn't know about this.

  • for me cowboy bebop and evangelion and the two masterpieces of anime..

    i agree with you

but i dont think that u can compare this two series

ghost in the shell is like something else too..

    gantz

    i dont know..

    i love cb and evangelion..

  • Yeah, Ghost in the shell is great too. Freakin' good Sci-fi

  • have you ever seen Samurai Champloo? it's done by the same guy who did Cowboy Bebop.... it has a little more action and a bit less story but it's still pretty good, Evangelion is Really good but I just couldn't stand the ending... It was confusing and unneeded.... and then in the movie everybody frickin died which ticked me off even more....

  • @franstorm same they are all perfect in every aspect in both plot and visuals id also samurai champloo and some of the gundam series are mind blowing masterpieces

but in my eyes the greatest and most truly mind blowing anime of all time is gurren lagann :)

  • @LTheFirst

wait, so i'm curious how cowboy bebop have to do with brain powered? i just saw a clip of brain powered, and it seems to be some naked girl robot anime. are you saying the budget all went to brain powered and not to cowboy bebop?

  • @turtleboat yep. Initally at least. Eventually Bebop got the attention of Sunrise, and they began supporting the project

  • @LTheFirst It just goes to show how amazing and powerful a simple story can be... I mean, if they had just a small budget, it had to be simple... and see how awesome it was?

  • @raCteJ It's the demonstration that genius wins over money

  • agreed, why the second part? kinda hurts the first

  • Man that bari's got it goin on! Awesome amv!

  • I LOVE ITTTT.

  • thanks :)

  • Oh god i miss Cowboy Bebop. *looks for box DVD in closet*

  • wooooh That's a good editing !! But Why the 2nd part ??

  • the best soundtrack of anything, ever.

  • Cowboy Bebop has the best soundtrack of not only any anime ever but any TV show ever. Period.

  • I agree completely.

  • +movie. Only contested by O' Brother Where Art Thou...

  • @einootspork PERIOD .

  • And yet another great tune from this show.

You know I was hooked just after hearing the intro tune tank when i first seen this show some time back on toonami

  • Ein is the cutest animated dog ever.

  • Dam, this is one of the best Cowboy Bebop AMVs ever, period

  • Oh man, this is my favorite song from the movie!!

I love the scenes in this vid with Spike and Faye's aerial fight scene from session 25. That was a great fight. Nice job. And, I actually like Hip-Hop part, too :)

  • thanks a lot ;D

  • i love you for making this.

  • dude that "jazzy music" is from the original soundtrack its yoko kanno and the seatbelts its awesome stuff.

  • i loooove spike and cowboy andy! ;D

  • Pierrot Le Fou and Vicious...the two worst enemies Spike ever had!

  • What about Vincent Volajou?

  • That's what I think too. But Pierrot is creepier than Vicious. He is one the creepiest charachters in anime ever

  • yeah that's awesome. the seatbelts are my favorites next to coltrane.

  • Thanks, I've been trying to find this for a while.

    Five stars.

  • It has been eons since I've first seen this anime... great work

  • That was really well done! Nice syncing and choice of clips.

  • id maxout the thums up on ur message, but i cant...sorry...

  • great work!

  • thanks :)

  • very awesome

  • what's that at the end. It's so fuckin rad.

  • The song you mean? It says at the end if the description over to the right of the video.

  • Great editing, great timing, 5 out of 5

  • thanks :)

  • Thank YOU. I heard the song before but I didn't know it was by The Seatbelts, I thought it was an american artist, also because there's no japanese in the song, only a few lines in english

  • cRAP suxs

  • You have to be one of the most clever people I've ever had comment on here! :D

    Congrats friend!!!

  • ...........

  • Why's everyone hatin' on Pete Rock & CL Smooth? :(

You know those 2 guys still reminisce over you?!

  • idk ;/

Never got the hate before ;/

  • That's what happens when you do another genre and then put a hint of Hip Hop at the end... WHINERS. D:

  • Great AMV, but remove last 30 seconds. Really.

  • No.

  • brilliant syncing, but the last 30 seconds was crap

  • looool, this vid keeps getting criticism about that rap song just cuz a few people are so touchy about having rap invade their ears...

  • it's not that it's rap, it's because it doesn't contrast well with the rest. otherwise it's good stuff!

  • lol i love that episode where the stuff in their freezer comes to life

  • hah I love ein

  • thanks :)

  • First 2:44 five stars, the rest, one star ... rating three stars. Learn to self-edit.

  • LOL, what a class act you are!

    :D

I always love it when people think they can be condescending to me. Please learn to not be a douchebag. I think there's an online class for it.

Peace and thanks for the compliment (on the first 2:44 of course, before you couldn't stand it).

  • yo where did you find seatbelts music ive been looking and i havent found anything

  • just look up how to use torrents and then go to isohunt(dot)com and search for the soundtrack... i'm sure it's there.

  • hey sukafish what anamie is this off and where can i watch it??

  • it says in the title and it's on Adult Swim sometimes.

  • love ein

  • Love it...man cowboy bebop rocks! i jus' love it so much n' ya done good on the vid bro

  • what's the name of that last song?

  • ;\

    Says in description...

  • Kick ass sweet Videos where did u find them ? Or did you make them?

  • yeah, all the upped videos are by me, it says in the description, thanks.

  • love the way u hit the beat from 1:38-1:54.

  • Pierrot le Fou...easily one of the worst ass-kickings I've seen in anime!

  • very nice amv do u have anymore?

  • lol, yeah, if you click on my channel I have more... mostly hip hop AMVs, but I have quite a few more Bebop ones.

  • nice editing : D

  • 2 awesome songs.

  • My favorite anime. Great job. I accidently clicked 4 stars. XD

  • lol, I forgive you. I've accidentaly clicked 1 star on some vids I love =0

  • The only AMV I've ever watched, and not just because of the song.

  • So how come you watched it?

  • Because it was actually in tune with the music. lol

  • One of ur other bestz! ;D

And oh yeah! What anime iz dis?? ;\

  • LOL

  • ;P ;D!

  • PSH! LUV IT~FUNK13 FR3SH! ;D SO 70'Z! AND the end creditz are awsome.

    P3RF3CT SYNC!

  • beginning is pure brilliance. Fits perfectly.

  • GO EIN : P

  • Spike's martial arts style is clearly modeled after Bruce Lee. In Jupiter Jazz when he gives that dude the free lesson he talks about how he needs to be like water, which is pretty much a direct quote from a rather famous interview with Bruce Lee about his own philosophy in martial arts. If you want to see where the black guy fits into things, just watch "Game of Death."

P.S. I find it funny that the greatest fighter in the Cowboy Bebop series is Ed's father - Spike doesn't even come close.

  • ha, reminds me of Samurai Champloo and how no one could really beat that blind girl in episode 20-21, yet Jin was able to beat that super samurai in the last episode... so i guess she was the best outta everyone

    :0

  • whoops, that Agenda1988 is my other account, accident, but it was me ;)

  • There are a lot of cool little details like that in both series...

P.P.S. I just took another couple looks at 1:52-1:56...incredible.

  • lol,yh i was like o.O when Spike couldn't get a hit on him and then he couldn't even remember if Ed is a boy or a girl hehe

  • Ah, I believe the fighting style is called Jeet Kune Do.

If you look it up, a lot of what Bruce Lee says about it you will see incorporated into Cowboy Bebop.

  • Your pretty much right. Spikes fighting style is a combination between Jeet Kune Do and french boxing. Tho Spike describes his fighting style the same way Bruce did.

  • great video man, truly fukin loved man but i gotta say that hip-hop bit at the end just ruins it so i give you 4/5,5/5 if you didn't have that ending,Ein was the mastermind of Bebop, lol :P

  • oh, well if you don't like hip-hop, you won't like my other vids :p

  • Like Sucka said; reminds me more of the Bruce lee trained, Kareem Abdul Jabar vs Spike ;D

And wasn't that big dudes name Abdul something?

Anyhow, this takes from the frantic pace that this vid goes by, it almost makes me feel like I am in slow motion. Good stuff.

  • ah yeah, forgot about Kareem. yeah, probably based on him, you right... and lol, Bebop always does that name thing, like Abdul to refer to someone in real life.

  • yeah Carlos, Jobim and the other old guy are all named after like the fathers of Bossa Nova.

You know, that is what is killa about this series. It is so detailed.

  • Ha, and I think on one episode with plane hijackers, the hijackers were like Moe, Curly, and Larry or sumthin with some trio... there's a lot of cool little things in the show.

  • lol never noticed that before on Hijackers

  • Ediie Murphy Vs Spike at :45

  • Eddie Murphy, wtf?!? He was probably based on Jim Kelly since he was in Enter The Dragon with Bruce Lee, and there's a few Bruce Lee references in that episode...

    Suckafish80 a.k.a. The Teacher.

  • Well if it was anybody but eddie murphy we were talkin about i mightve sided with you, but eddie has mastered omnipresence. how else could he have played the ENTIRE klump family in The Nutty professor?

  • So then any guy is now Eddie Murphy just cuz he could theoretically play them with the right makeup?

    o_.

  • No, Eddie Murphy COULD be anybody he wanted with his abilities. But he chooses not to all the time, what do you think eddie is...immature?

  • this is one of the best amvs ive ever seen! editing to that song with such fast clips must have taken forever.

  • thanks, and yeah, the more clips, the more time :\

though out of my videos, this one doesn't have the most clip changes, but this one has some quick moments.

  • lol i found him...

  • oh, lol... I didn't understand til I read you other comments, haha

  • man this shit is stupid fresh! especially the cl smooth joint at the end...

  • can anyone tell me where i can find some Seatbelt CD's ? i've looked everywhere and cant find anything :(

  • ebay

  • Yo man if you send this to Watanabe (Creator of Bebop) I'm sure he might actually use it for some kinda promotion.. maybe his DVDs or something like that..

    Anyway, amazing video 6/5

  • lol, I doubt it, there's probably better AMVs plus I don't think he's very easy to get a hold of... and they have professionals to do that kind of stuff... but thanks for the compliment.

  • Sucka you outdid yourself this time man, musta took forever to make 1:46 -1:54 (the fight Spike rolls through that gang) to work.

  • yeah, thanks for commenting on that part...I edited that thing up and didn't know if it would just look like a jumble or if it would look cool once I put it on youtube, so I hadda make a few little adjustments.

  • And you have done it again.......

    get in a studio.

Your vids are like a tv show, cant wait until the next episode.

    Keep it up.

  • :)

that's on of my fav comments.

    Thanks!

  • some of the best synching you've done so far in my opinion. keep it up and i'll keep watching.;)
