I've seen 4 out of the five films nominated for Best Picture. The only one I haven't seen is Frost/Nixon. I thought Sean Penn was too creepy looking to play Harvey Milk. Penn was considered for the Joker role in "The Dark Knight" for a reason. Every time he smiled It gave me goosepimples. Emile Hirsch overacted as he usually does (I hated Into The Wild). I've seen all but Frost/Nixon (which I'm going to see soon) Benjamin Button was a snoozefest. Doubt should have been in the best picture category. While Blockbusters seldom win, Lord Of The Rings : Return Of The King" won Best picture as did "Titanic".
But the Oscars remain a joke when they give Jack Nicholson three oscars for playing the same person and cheat Peter Fonda in 1997 when he went out on a limb and lived up to the Fonda name(Ulee's Gold)

I've seen 4 out of the five films nominated for Best Picture. The only one I haven't seen is Frost/Nixon. I thought Sean Penn was too creepy looking to play Harvey Milk. Penn was considered for the Joker role in "The Dark Knight" for a reason. Every time he smiled It gave me goosepimples. Emile Hirsch overacted as he usually does (I hated Into The Wild). I did, however have some respect for Penn as I always thought he was overrated and self-serving. At least they showed that Milk's fight was..

WTF? Where's the video? People who say Wall-E is bad are idiots and know nothing about good films. Enough with Dark Knight already. The only reason it wins awards is due to sympathy votes and Ledger's exceptional performance. I loved it but there are better movies outthere. Anyway, this award giving bodies should mean nothing.

GRAN TORINO was like the best song ever. kay maybe not the best song. but i mean, right after the movie ended and its all sad, and they played that really sad song, it fuckin worked! i haven't seen slumdog millionaire, but i mean, i saw wall-e 4 times, i dont remember a song beign in it, so it must not have been that great.

ok in BAF category Bolt should not have been nominated. it should have been nominated. I think cloverfield should have been nominated for somthing about SP. And Best costume design should have had Dark knight. o and the best editing should have been WANTED!
