It's not a mistake, it's counterpoint (Kontrapunktus as it's called in classical music) when John sings: She's in love with me and I feel fine, while the others sing I'm in love with her and I feel fine. I don't believe it's accidental. They are Geniuses.

To those that say there will never be another John Lennon, you're probably right. However, aspiring musicians need to realize that John Lennon was just a human being like everyone else. He just happened to become very successful because he worked his ass off to perfect his craft. If musicians started doing this; I'm sure we would have another music breakthrough, but people keep reminiscing on the success of the Beatles rather than contributing by writing their own music.

I've seen clips of Paul doing it as well. I think the fact that their shows were only 20 minutes in length, the lack of time to get in proper practices, the drugs/women/ the insanity of beatlemania, the sheer amount songs they were putting out there, it almost makes sense that they would screw up some lines. Also, the fact, they had no monitors!

@babystinky Mostly correct. If you look at their schedule, you realize that they cooked songs up in a SINGLE SESSION. Yes, the songs are legendary, but they were busy touring/writing in a whirlwind timeframe. They sang songs live without having played them more than a couple dozen times.
