  • its 3:00 in the morning and this the coolest thing i've ever seen.

  • Why paranormality? LOL?

  • From the angle and the black cloth, you can't tell the table is raised. Objects can be larger than they appear depending on how you're viewing them.

  • @milesshrog lol you're extremely stupid ;)

  • @HDmoneyblox10 No, dumbass - when something is closer to you, it looks bigger. lmao

  • @HDmoneyblox10 Hence, why the sun doesn't look big from where you are. And you can tell it's raised in the video from the lighting. DERPAHERP :D

  • @milesshrog the thing is.. the table isnt raised, try yourself before you turn yourself into a dumbass ;) go ahead, try it... i DARE you, you in 1st grade or never heard of round shapes before??? calm your tits and accept you are the dumbass

  • @HDmoneyblox10 Oh for the love of God, I know how the basic illusion works - I know your proud of yourself for getting it, but I'm saying that he has them on a slope to enhance the illusion. Maybe he does or doesn't, I don't really know, but it seems like it, but either way, I was just commenting, which is the purpose of the comments section - not having to deal with faggots trying to start flame wars.

    Good day to you.

  • @YUYUWONG1 that shit scared me 2

  • The static scared my pee out of my pants

  • GODDAMN STATIC

  • B messureS different on the screne when its moved so the table must be on a slant!!!!

  • i tink they both look the same when u turn ur screen sideways !!!

  • Its an angle

  • i did this myself with clear paper, it's not about the letters

  • What kind of sorcery is this????

  • Confused!!

  • The fucking static scared me out of my wits.

  • trick is... they are both the same size but cuts on the sides aren't straight but askew. so when he aligns one on top of the other he aligns shorter end of top one with longer end of top one so they cant be the same

  • "A" n "B r both the same size but when he puts B on top the lettr is bigger than A but when he puts B on bottom it seems like A is smaller but they r both the same size yeeyy i got it :D

  • Ohhh i see it thy r both the same size but when he put the lettr b on top of a the lettr b seems smaller but when he puts the letter b on the bottom the lettr b is bigger but they r both the same size:D

  • I don't really know how to explain, but at least notice that the "A" is in the middle of the paper and when he places the B paper on top, the "B" is not in the middle of the paper.

  • so

  • do any 1 found out what's diffrent... ok let me say only thing is your eye is seeing the circle shap not an order..;

  • Mommy, this man frightens me. D:

  • @YOUMUSTDOIT1 it's all in the PERspective

  • i feel like the left side of my brain says that something on top is bigger and cast a smaller shadow

  • it's all in the prospective

  • No gimmicks at all. The eye contrasts the short side of the paper on bottom with the large side of the paper on top. I've done this with AK-47 magazines before.

  • fake and gay

  • Three different level in height. first set, a on the middle elevation and b on the base. second set b on the highest elevation. last set all on middle elevation. tilt the board or camera until curves fit.

  • If we were to see the Y axis, you could tell that the surface is tilted left side down and back. To be clearer, if he were to place a ball in the lower right hand corner of B, the ball would roll Northwest off of the surface.

  • There the same size... he's not lining up the lengths, he's lining up the left edge, which makes it appear to be different lengths...

  • They're the same size, it just looks longer or shorter, but when it's above or below, notice that it's position also moves left or right. Some of you are stupid

  • so simple when you understand it LOL

  • It IS Jastrow illusion but with a kick. I think the guy is enhancing the illusion with a bit of perspective manipulation. B seems to deform and actually looks longer on the "bellow" position than the "above" position.

  • when b is on the bottom, it is bigger than a and vice versa

  • he cutted it look carefully at the B papper when its moved

  • you cut

  • what happend?i dont understand,it was no illusion ....

  • supongo q cuando b estaba abajo el fondo estaba mas sobresalido y cuando lo puso arriba de a el fondo estaba mas hondo. creo no hay otra

  • They're the same size... Did anyone else realise this at the start of the video?

  • the pieces of paper are sitting at different levels (heights). When B is placed below A, it's at a higher level, when B is 'above' A it is at a lower level than A

  • @aleks5005 It has nothing to do with height. The one below appears to be longer because our brain compares the shorter edge of the upper one with the longer edge of the lower one, instead of comparing the corresponding edges.

  • @verg77 ooh i get it.. he's aligning up the left side so that two edges are in a straight line.. sneaky

  • It seems that B is longer, but when u place it on A they are equal, that's all

  • mind officially blown

  • i know why... simple

  • my brain is none of these

  • I just got Brain-Fucked.

  • Although watching this again, i see the angle thing... that does add some extra effect, lol. Still, same concept though, and they are both the same size.

  • Why is everyone trying to make this into some weird complicated trick? Didn't any look at optical illusion books when they were kids? They ARE both the same size. When the longer edge at the top of one of the strips is place right below the shorter edge of at the bottom of the other strip, thats what your eyes will use as a reference.

  • 'A' lays just a bit higher than 'B'... Yes, it's just that simple

  • @radeksken No that is not it. It is the length of the strips. Really just ignore the letters

  • look at the letters retards.

  • i fully undorstood this....the bottom length and top length are different. its like a turn on the street...u drive on the inside of the lane to cover more distance over a shorter amount of time

  • THE FUCK?

  • BURN THE WITCH!!

  • 0:05 because of the shadow u can see the stupid trick

  • @ProfieHater there is no trick

  • i have one of those. but two are red and one is yellow

  • i feel stupid...

  • The one on the top seems shorter then the other one but when he puts them on top of eachother they are actually the same size

  • this is easy to figure out... when b goes above a its moved to the left and lined up... when b moves under a it is moved to the right also lined up alowing it to be a longer langth when really both are the same size

  • It's simple, the distance that the B card is from the A is showing the size change. It is just deception of what one might see.

  • What a.....

  • The band imagination sang "it's just an illusion"

  • dont you idiots get it? the shape with the "B" printed on it is larger than the shape with the "A" on it.. but after he fiddles with it, their both the same size shapes.. hha loser's

  • The table is sloped upwards to the right.

  • omg! I put paper on another 1!!! its so cool!

  • the pieces arent in the same line, botton of A at top of B, not botton of A at botton of B (just imagine a line that should connect upper left corners of both pieces, the line isn't straight, wich means that the pieces are actually diagonaly placed).

  • what the fuck

  • all my black friends just ran out the house

  • Comment removed

  • All people who did not understand this are dumb...

  • this guy just changed the piece of paper marked b if u look close you will see it stops as he moves his hand over a

  • @finley2605 No, they're the same pieces throughout. I've seen this illusion before.

  • INSTA MUTE

  • yhe curve insside is smaller than outside

  • its because of the curv of the bits of card you can aso do it with two equal sized bannanas

  • not bad

  • The illusion happens because "B" is placed initially an inch to the right of "A", then an inch to the left of "A", then back an inch to the right of "A". The left-hand edges are placed to form a straight line, but the line runs diagonally down from left to right. It's not vertical.

  • Instead of claiming it's bullshit, try it out for yourself.

Then, you can go lie to yourself that one is longer than the other. -_-

  • I am entertained. Not by the video, but by the people who don't get this when it was one of the most basic and common illusions demonstrated in Kindergarten.

  • Protip: This is called the Wundt illusion.

  • I showed that trick to some of my friends, except with two ak-47 magazines. They were confused why they were different sizes and then I showed them that they were the same size.

  • spooky!

  • @faroeseguy114 what's going to happen. werid

  • this is easy! the up part of the paper is bigger than the down part of it! test it with a banana at ur home

  • Why do people not believe this is an illusion?

I knew about this trick from a magic trick set I got when I was 9. It just gave me two pieces of card like the ones in the video, and it was a self working illusion.

  • Table wasn't flat or black cover hides incline table.

  • u can clearly see a frame cut when he holds B and starts to move it up lol what a fail

  • @dannyvaz No.

  • WHAT THE FUCK

  • You're brain is comparing the shorter side of one (the bottom) to the longer side of the other (the top), so whichever one has its longer side in the junction between the two will seem longer.

  • they're the same size,

    but you them bend right?

    they're not straight lines, right?

well this means, the outer side is bigger then the inner side. (this is a fact)

meaning if you put the long side of B to the small side of A, B will look longer, cause the other side of B is longer then the inner side of A.

(since both figures are exactly the same, outer > inner)

same goes the other way around.

B looks smaller when it's above a cause the innerside of B is smaller then the outer side of A

  • Is there anyone else that does not understand this?

  • @Faroeseguy114 it is very simple the effect happens because one of the sides is smaller than the other side

  • @Faroeseguy114

He's lining the edges up all wrong making the bottom one appear to be larger simply because it's shifted to the right.

  • @Faroeseguy114 actually the card B is a little higher than card A so when u luk at it from above...it gives a illusion

  • @Faroeseguy114 uh me

  • @Faroeseguy114 just the angel of the camera

  • Faлe видно под наклоном

  • U are so stupid ppl they are the same size and if u try to draw for example a half circle fit 45 degree edge line and draw another one under it an then take the same distance of half circle outline and place it on top of first one u would acctualy see the result :p

  • Feedest ye notte yon trolles

  • @blackcry22 wrestling is fake though

  • for those calling this dumb or bs, you do know what an illusion is don't you?

  • how what where what i can't

  • This is easy. It's just the same sise of paper placed diffrintly

  • its bs its so simple

  • i call bull shit

  • my brain just melted

  • the first part scared me then the static made me jump, fuck

  • This is dumb.. When you line up these at their true middlepoint you just see they're both the same length. It's just the bend shape that makes it look not so.

To see this clearly, just turn your head so the left sides are perfectly horizontal. You'll see that the 2 papers are exactly the same size.

  • @me1337je Thanks Einstein whats next your going to say that wrestling is fake?

  • Comment removed

  • first of all the table isn't flat... and, you don't measure the lengths of two pieces of paper cut like that placing them like that.... he made their edges parallel so you'd think it's straight

  • Figured it out already, fools :L

  • uy, si que miedo xD

  • this is wack!!

  • the real mystery is.... .what happened to the A shape at the end o.O

  • OMG the card is bent that the answer

  • It's simple.

The illusionist lines up the two cards by their left edges so they form a straight line, while you focus on the right side. the "B" card is farther right at the start, and moves to the left when it goes up.

    SOLVED.

  • its pure illusion...

  • That music is a might creepy >.>

  • ng the top and the bottom line u sucker

  • gay

  • cheap trick -.-1

  • My brain dun goofed

  • i dont get it

  • o i kinda just reallized wat the trick was lol

  • OHH SHIT, ITS THE END OF THE WORLD!!??

  • Comment removed

  • @chern1172 There is no trick just putting a sideways surface in line with another it looks smaller. Try it yourself

  • Oh Sorry. I look the wall ... And i see this ... form. Ok. Good Video.

  • So ? WHAT DA PHOQUE WITH THIS VIDEO ? I see anything.

  • surface end height differs... where he places the paper

  • that was so cool....!

  • What the...

  • i dont see whats happening?

  • whatever way you put it, the card on the outside has a bigger circumferance to fill so looks smaller plus he puts it to the side rather than middle

  • the table is not flat at all,,the black cloth makes it invisible,,

  • @jebot2 bet it took its sweet time to figgure thast one out

  • @jebot2 Sorry you're wrong, just print it out and try it yourself

  • @jebot2 You're wrong, it's an optical illusion.

  • Thats no ghost, Just Chuck Testa

  • FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

  • This means nothing to you if you're self aware, which most of us are, some better than others. He moves the cards until he places the B cad over the A card. What illusion does this achieve?

  • WITCH BURN IT!!!!

  • WHAT IS THIS WITCHCRAFT?!

  • my brain hurts

  • or up

  • i think the table is bend down... sorry if my english is bad...

  • Oh iight I got it look at the letters how they line up once then look at the left edge of the paper he's moving it back to line up the edges

  • @kingdomkeykc Scratch what I said. It's photoshoped:P

  • this is just MINDFUCK

  • :o i am BRUSSY DOG! (just think about that..)

  • WTF!!!

  • when B is over A, B has to go around A's outer cormer, with other words B has to travel a longer distance when over A

  • @TheKordeckis99 to say it this way, when he moves B above A he moves it slightly to the left. watch closely!! :)

  • @TheKordeckis99 look at it this way: when he moves B above A he moves it slightly to the left just look:P

  • Mommy, I'm scared...

  • This is not nearly as complex as allot of people here are making it. The lines on the left side are slanted, not straight up and down. when he places B above the A he is moving it up and to the left, and then down and to the right when he slides it back to the inside. you dont notice this though, because he lines up the slants instead of an actual straight vertical line.

  • one table is lower then the other im 10 and i found this very easy

  • @H3adsh0t3211

Well your definitely ten, cause your wrong :P

  • @H3adsh0t3211 yes you're wrong. Cut out the pieces of paper yourself and you'll see it works on a flat table if you repeat the trick.

  • I just got my mind blown
