I do what mzimmerman12 does, I make a solid aluminum windscreen larger in diameter than the pot with two horizontal rods forming an X to sit the pot on. I punch some holes around the bottom for an air inlet.

We go up to prospect harbor maine every year on vacation and relax. We love going to acadia and hanging out for the day. That is actually were i made my first stove out of some soda cans i drank at camp. keep up the videos tinny cant wait for the big 1000. Congrats.

as far as being swamped in your store, I wonder if you have ever considered bringing in an intern, perhaps getting a kid from the local HS who is interested in the mechanical side of things and having him come over after school and training him to to do some of the easier/more time consuming things and eventually teaching him/her some of the more technical things that you do. It might be a win win.

Great sight Tinny. I am a woodworker but really enjoy the metal work like you too! Just love watching that precision lathe tool cut into the metal!

I make my flashing windscreen about a 1/2" bigger all the way around the pot and then put 2 metal tent stakes through holes on the windscreen to hold the pot. Works great!

Not to be a contrary but I use my evernew stand for a combo pot stand/windscreen for my M3.

I think it is an elegant soultion. I have done about 40 boils using different configurations and it boils we well or better than any other configuration I have tried.
