The "glitch way" works 10000 times better, I would just remove the other vid since that is broken. The 1 turret I leave either shoots me as I lift up to fire the portal over it's head, or it shoots me after I exit the Portal and am in the air going towards it. It has failed 15 times in a row...Just tried the glitched way 1 time and it worked, 10 times easier.

i found a glitch in the one with 2 moniters, if you do an infinaate loop on the little island in the middle, sometimes if you shoot a portal to the bottomless pit, you portal down there and arer stranded

For #10, you can stand next to the funnel base and shoot a portal directly in front of you (having the other portal across from the monitor) and run into it that way. I fail at running diagonally -_-

WORD OF CAUTION: For Monitor 10, I made the mistake of breaking that screen before an exit to the level could be made, so I had to go back and load the point as I was entering the room.

When you use the gel, try to take out just two of the turrets. Then, shoot portals at 1) the wall closets to the remaining turret and 2) the floor near you.

Don't just step into the portal. Jump! Do it right, and you can land right next to that turret and carry it over to where it can shoot Wheatley's screen.

This was the hardest screen for me. I don't think you game glitched. I tried multiple solutions and the one in this video is what I got to work. You just have to shoot your portal off-center so the funnel doesn't go through.

on the testchamber with 10th monitor go over to where wheatly makes an exit for you and look in the upper leftish corner and you can see one of the co-op players get surprised and run into the exit sorry if that didnt make much sense

On 10, I just held down the funnel button, then activated a funnel under the cube, and then I put the other portal on the platform, sending the cube at the monitor.

Monitor number 12 does not qualify for the achievement as it is not a test chamber monitor as the achievement requires.

Had the same happen to me. Went rhough a second time and still didnt get it. Then realised ther are 2 monitors is test chamber 5. went back to that one and as soon as i broke it i got the achievement, didnt have to carry on and do all the other rooms that i had done in previous attempts

You can smash the 9th easier than in your video. You just have to make a portal where the laser touch the wall, and an other portal on the same wall to make the laser touch the screen by its side. (sorry for my english)

That last 12th Monitor in the conveyor belt room in your video doesn't count towards the 11. I missed one along the way (in the one room that has 2 monitors), so when I got to the conveyor belt monitor, I only had smashed 10. The trophy did NOT pop when I smashed that last monitor. I had to go back and get the one I missed, and then the trophy popped.

You can SAVE in the middle of this. As long as you're getting new dialogue for each monitor, you are progressing through the Achievement. I finished monitor 7 and realized I had missed monitor 5 because there were 2 in that stage. I reverted my save, got the monitor, worked back to 7and got new dialogue.

On 11, I saved after knocking out the 2 turrets and loaded from there when I died.

Save before and after each monitor and after completing crucial pieces.

Thumbs up to save everyone's time.

I did it from the beginning of chapter 8 to the end and no achievement appeared... (I had monitor destroyed before leaving room always) now I need to do all them from beginning again O.o dang...

@AyesDyef I'm playing on the PS3 and when you destroy a monitor for the first time it says "saving to profile" then even if you die, the monitor counts as being broken.

I got Smash TV after smashing the 11th monitor. I don't remember smashing monitor #12 in the previous playtrough and if I did, this would be proof that you don't need to do them in one playtrough.

Every time you get a TV it autosaves your game - when I did TV #6 it didn't save. It's interesting, I don't feel like going back through a full new game on a new account to trophy test and see if #6 counts toward a trophy or not though.
