So, Obamacare has passed. As a DIRECT RESULT of this bill, A dear friend of mine has gone from a bad situation to one much worse. Her health insurance costs went UP 50% AND she, along with all of her co-workers are being forced to take 6 days of UNPAID time off because the company's costs went up too. She can't afford her medications, and even had to move out of her apartment because the rent was now too high. THANKS A LOT OBAMA & PELOSI! Don't do us anymore favors. we can't afford it!

All jobs I have ever had offerd Insurance, not one place refused me and it was never expensive the problem is people want things for free. So, Obamacare has passed. As a DIRECT RESULT of this bill, A dear friend of mine has gone from a bad situation to one much worse. Her health insurance costs went UP 50% AND she, along with all of her co-workers are being forced to take 6 days of UNPAID time off because the company's costs went up too. She can't afford her medications, and even had to move out of her apartment because the rent was now too high. THANKS A LOT OBAMA & PELOSI! Don't do us anymore favors. we can't afford it!

All jobs I have ever had offerd Insurance, not one place refused me and it was never expensive the problem is people want things for free. I am single and pay 30 a month and 200 deductible max out 2000 per year. Thats cheap when you think about it. For those that cant get insurance i sugest you find a diffrent job. If you think insurance is for the rich then go get rich insurance is NOT a right. So what we are not all equel but we can all get rich if we want to that is our right. I am poor.

Two or more states can make a compact to sell the same plans across state lines. All they have to do is agree on the minimum standards. WIthout agreement on standards it would violate state laws.

Plus plenty of families have had to go bankrupt if said "18" year old gets sick or is in an accident and has no insurance.
Lastly, insurance for that age is pretty cheap, so it's not a concern.

1. This bill does not "nationalize" healthcare. You might want to look up the meaning of the word nationalization before you make a fool out of yourself again.
2. The CBO just calculated that this will REDUCE the deficit by 130 billion the first decade and 1.2 trillion the second decade, FIXING the Medicare solvency problem.

Something does need to be done for people without insurance, but this is not the way to do it. I am 14 years old, and I know that this government regulated health care is going to send us deeper into debt. You don't need to fix EVERYONE'S coverage. Just the people who are unable to have it.

With all due respect Mr. President, your reform doesn't do anything to lower the bill that the patient gets in the mail. Whether it's from the hospital or insurance compmnay, the costs will continue to RISE. You aren't mandating any reductions in the cost of anything medical. You are adding 30 miilion people to an overwhelmed system. Medicare is unsustainable. It's is all about FRAUD- what are you doing to eliminate the billions of our dollar$ that are stolen through the current federal system?

I tried to vote on this and my vote was not counted! It remained at 61 against.
Whether or not you like health care you should have a problem with hit count and vote count manipulations. You should also have a problem with this deem and pass scheme. If it really is a good bill it should be able to pass a simple yes or no vote as prescribed by the US CONSTITUTION.

IF you don't support health care reform I advise you to go see some of these hard working families that one of their loved ones died because they couldn't afford good enough Health care and LOOK them in the eyes and tell them you don't support Health care reform and see how that feels. Yes there are many concerns about any government run program, but it is a huge mis justice for people in the richest country in the world to die of preventable causes.

Present health insurance co, are working with hospitals as a partners, if your love one need hospital treatment insurance will tel them how log they want to pay insurance, in meantime patient is dead.

Who I am is not important, but I can tell you where to search for more death panel cases. Look at the hospice program. Follow the trails of how people got on the lists. The journey they took. The stress and frustration of dealing with bureaucracy. The delay of services month after months. IF you have cancer the last thing you want to hear is Im sorry; Ill call you when I get to your case, in 6 months? Time vs Cancer, cancer wins. Bureaucracy = No accountability! Your health. Your choice!

Death panel?
Too old to marry, too young to bury. This statement was made by a dying grandmother. She applied for govt. healthcare in Feb 09. Her case got delayed until Dec 09. She received hospice care in Dec 09 and suddenly her govt. healthcare got approved. You see, its cheaper to pay for hospice care than to pay for treatments of cancer. Furthermore once she received hospice care, all other treatment halted.
Govt. rationing + delay tactic = silence killer.
