  • Smith:you're empty

    Neo:so are you

    Smith:that's what she said

  • I love these movies like crazy! Mostly because of the great action but the plot is really good too. I’ve been watching a lot of the older Kung Fu movies that inspired The Matrix and I found out about “Films of Fury” which just came out on demand. It was a really great watch and had intense action scenes and movie clips!

    bitly .com/uBGPir

  • One thing I love about the fights in this film is that most of them are fairly even. I never felt like it was too one sided unless it was necessary (end of the movie for example). Even Morpheus got a few good punches in in his fight with Smith.

  • I want to get Agent Smith's glasses.

  • 1:59

    Epic!

  • @Agusloquillo

    Epic?!?

  • MY NAME IS NEO! backflips off the tracks with cool balance

  • too slow aint fast enaf id kill dis two

  • 1:01 BITCH! you did NOT. Just. Break. My. GLASSES!

  • i love the matrix and all but i never got how, if you could dodge a bullet traveling at half a mile per second, they couldnt dodge every punch and kick thrown at them...

  • @TheLolers420

If they can dodge a bullet going that fast, they could probably throw punches and kicks even faster since moving your whole body is harder than moving your leg or arm.

  • @TheLolers420 That's because the fights are in slow motion so that we can see something

(just kidding, I've been wondering too ^^)

  • @TheLolers420 Well, if you think about it, they could move their arms and legs just as fast to punch/kick as they can to dodge...

  • @TheLolers420 because their body moves faster then bullets right? so are their punches and kicks, so they are harder to dodge.

  • @TheLolers420 perhaps the idea behind it all is that their punches are as fast as a bullet, (yet obviously not sharp enough to pierce skin) I love this fight. Absolutely perfect, the way I see it.

  • @TheLolers420 Bullets were controlled by the Matrix, people weren't. That's the whole reason for the kung-fu thingy.

  • @TheLolers420 Think of it like this. Fists and feet aren't projectiles. It's probably a skill thing, eyesight. XP

  • well. because the kicks and punches are faster than bullets

  • @TheLolers420 I thought it was cause the bullet was part of the program and was more predictable but punches and kicks are made by an unpredictable human

  • @TheLolers420 Because bullets go at a certain speed its easier to dodge than a punch or kick which the speed can be controlled... atleast that's my thought process when i watched it.

  • @TheLolers420 What I never got was if the Agents could move at bullet-speed then why the hell are they so slow in the fight scenes?

  • @TheLolers420 maybe they can just perfectly predict where the bullet will go because they can only dodje the bullets when they can clearly see the gun

  • @TheLolers420 Or that a punch or kick is much more larger there fore harder to dodge than a bullet, and you have to remember that they dont always dodge the bullets

  • @TheLolers420 Because the bullets are more predictable, someone's punch or kick isn't.

  • @TheLolers420 Cuz it looks cool n its a MOVIE not a REAL WORLD so it doesnt hav to be all logical

  • @TheLolers420 Obvious retort to that statement; their hands are faster than bullets.

  • @TheLolers420 Glitches.

  • @TheLolers420 Cos they can move faster than that i guess.

  • @TheLolers420 Also, a bullet travels in a straight line as an extension of the barrel. A fight is not so obvious.

  • @jsung8070 If you can see a bullet traveling at hundereds of f.p.s. you should be able to see a fist traveling at a far slower rate.

  • @TheLolers420 Not sure I understand your point, I think you may not understand the movie.

  • @TheLolers420 I would say it's a distance thing, but that doesn't entirely make sense in and of itself.

  • @TheLolers420 This actually totally makes sense. Because they are "able" to dodge bullets means, they can move faster than a bullet. so dodging a punch which moves faster than a bullet is a different story. I guess you kinda have to look behind things there, very rarely they makers "show" how fast they really move (for instance, at the ending from part 1 when neo finally levels up to the one)

  • @TheLolers420 its because they are both reacting at the same speed of dodging a bullet

  • @TheLolers420 beacuse they use their true form, guns and such are material limited objects, but your body is the ulimate weapon with no limits such as crazy powers =D

  • @TheLolers420 its like on some Dragonball Z shit. Eventually people ascend past weapons and shit, they are stronger and faster than bullets....

  • @TheLolers420 Because the kicks and punches travel at the same speed?

  • 37 people say "Mr. Anderson" insted of "Neo".

  • 3:40 "I like trains".

  • 1st movie is the only good one sadly for plot and for fights.

  • Why does Agent Smith remind me of Spy Kids?

  • Why no headbutts

  • smith, hardest neck in the world... sounds like breaking a block of concrete

  • i remember watching this movie when i was 4. great film.

  • 36 people are agents

  • I don't think they truely captured the power of the agents. There was the one scene where Morpheus gets beat up but they needed more scenes like that

  • I used to have dreams like this all the time. They rocked!! What sucks is now all I do when I sleep is close my eyes and open them the next morning.

  • @galacticman123

You should try waking up to an alarm. I'm in a neurology class and according to studies one is more capable of remembering dreams if sleep is interrupted. :)

  • You are more powerfull than you think you are

    ...

    vvvvvv,GetOutOfTheMatrix,info

  • 2:30 did it to someone...=(

  • mr. neo anderson

  • IDRA!!!!!

  • IDRA!!!!!

  • gogo idra fighting!

  • Hugo Weaving did an amazing job with this role. The Agents were the ones keeping the system going and yet the character Smith hated it as much as the crew of the Nebuchadnezzar, albeit for different reasons. Unfortunately, they may have relied on Hugo Weaving a little too much in the sequels. The writing didn't give him much to work with. The frustration he portrayed in the first film didn't have a role in Smith character after Smith stopped being an Agent.

  • I just realized it too this was the first thing i watch when i woke up, and its Very understandable, this agent constantly calls him "Mr.Anderson", "Neo" is a Superman, he rejects what is told to him and specificaly creates his own, saying "My name is neo" ushering those words made him able to reject that agents hold and crush him leaveing him stunned, This is a character of a person in the world who does what others think can't be done.

  • 2:17 XD

  • See, the thing I love the most about this scene is that Smith seems like a total power house. Neo hits him with a whole barrage of attacks and he barely even flinches. Smith just doesn't seem as powerful in the other two movies. THIS Smith could beat the ever loving crap outta Smith 2.0

  • @TheTrueIronGamer

dont forget, NEO hasnt unlocked his powers as the one at this point.

thats the only reason why he seems so strong, and let foret that smith takes over the ENTIRE matrix world by the end, which means he beat EVERY agent and Seraph and everyone. If you trhink about it, it all makes sense :)

  • @FumaX8 Oh yeah, there's no arguing with that! Smith's power gets way outta hand by the end (because he's just THAT bad ass, of course!) I think it's just because Neo and him are on a level playing field in the other movies that I think it. In this scene his punches look like they could shatter a guy's skull on impact whereas Neo takes a whole boat load of punches from him in the other 2 movies! Still, I think this is my favourite fight scene of the series :)

  • But....why would you go to the trouble of editing out the headbutts?

  • @LibertyCityMayhem95 - The headbutts are actually licensed by a seperate film studio and subject to trademark restrictions.

  • 35 people didnt begin to believe

  • Headbutts or GTFO

  • i did not see the headbutts....

  • I was laughing so hard when Agent Smith got hit by the subway

  • Poor homeless dude.

  • Comment removed

  • At 2:00 Neo entering Super Saiyan mode LOL

  • PWNED!

  • i always want to do that what MR. anderson (NEO) done

  • Elrond, what are you doing !

  • my precioussssss

  • smith looked so pissed when his glasses broke

  • @GlitchMaster137 He is like the Terminator.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAA MR.SMITH GOT OWNED BY A TRAIN! NOOB! AHAHAHAHA... Why sm I laughing?

  • you can tell agent smith is like oh fuck when neo told him his gun is empty aswel

  • anyone knows the soundtrack the scene plays?

  • is this Kung fu their doing in this fight?

  • @DanNZ4 No, this is what we call street fighting lol.

  • @SuperEnergyAddict022 Weird because od all that flexability makes me think it's kung fu but now i see its street fighting gotcha.

  • @DanNZ4 Well, Street fighting isn't a style lol, but it's not 'a style' of fighting. It's the Matrix! XD

  • @SuperEnergyAddict022 i didn't say it was a style but it relates to kungfu almost

  • It seems that their fighting skills are better here than in the final movie.... aside from the flying

  • @Gadelong I know, I wish that they wouldn't have nerfed Neo and Agent Smith so much in the sequels. More well thought out fights like this would have been better, but it's still the Matrix, so I can't complain too much.

  • "He's beginning to believe!" - that's my favorite line in the movie.

  • 2:16

    Whhhiisshhh wooomm

    PPTTTTTTT-UUUUGGHHH!!!!

  • My name is neo

  • the this movie is fucken epic

  • Anyone think Neo looks 100x better dressed as a normal man in black jeans and a shirt, rather than a fucking monk in a robe? Anyone think black jeans and a shirt seem like more fitting clothes to fight in?

  • @tankxxx20

I agree. Poor Neo. People who didn't know it was a cassock probably thought he was fighting in a dress.

  • the first one is the best,

  • @crazycrash313 by miles.

  • What I don't get about the Matrix is that if you run out of bullets I'm sure you could 'wish' or create more bullets because your in a computer simulation.

  • EVERYONE DO THIS BEFORE YOU START THE VIDEO:

Have another youtube up with the song 'clubbed to death'

The play it in time with this fight.

    ENJOY!

  • smith- i liked those glasses now u die

  • Stop at 3:40 - You can see "Hewlett Packard" :P

  • Interesting, the full screen version shows more on the top and bottom than the widescreen version does.

  • 35 people didnt begin to believe

  • @SinryuK 36 people thought It was V (the guy from V For Vendetta) and Constantine fighting

  • 1460 persons are candidates to be the choosen one ... 35 are agent !

  • LOL press 6

  • 1:00 Agent Smith: AW HELL NAW. YOU BROKE MAH SHADES, BEYATCH!

  • where are the head butts? its not complete without them

  • @JeremyStCyr agent smith tried but neo stopped it loool

  • this somehow reminds me of gmod

  • 35 people didnt free their mind.

  • Though this flick has some epic elements: A world of deceit, friendship, daunting battles, death, love, betrayal and hope; had they rearranged it accordingly and showed in the first part the awakening, in the second part the learning and in the final part the rescue and redemption it could have worked; and the time in between would have been easily filled with talk and preliminary actions; and of course with the losing battle of the last free humans against the evil machines.

  • With a little moderation the movie could have been an almost epic tale (and a powerful anarchist/subversive parable as well); just a little less jumping and fancy explosions and much more talk and it would have been perfect; for the modern sense of the word of course, since today a divine poem like the Iliad cannot be composed anymore, as the epical and cultural basis is utterly lacking; so all art is bound to the boredom, poorness and cowardice of the modern world.

  • Normally I utterly despise these commercial American future flicks, but this one somewhat attracts me; though it is much darken by the misbegotten attempt to continue the story in spite of that it has been told already; so there can be no other parts: The two continuations seem to me as if someone had made sequel of Lord of the Rings after Frodo has thrown the One Ring back into the fires of mount doom already; this and to overload of computer acrobatics and animations ruined the movie.

  • Mr.Smith vs Neo...FINISH HIM!!!!....Neo wins, FATALITY!!!!

  • @HeadstrongSiblings Mortal Kombat is my favorite game

  • OMGG this is epic!!!!!

  • 1:04 don't mess with the sunglasses.

  • 36 smith dislike ^^

  • There is alot of symbolism in their rivalry - Neo is the One, Smith is the Many. They are also quite alot alike:

Both gained superhuman powers by "transcending" and being "brought back" from death.

They each are "freed" from their "prisons" - in that Neo is disconnected from the Matrix - Smith becomes one with it.

Also - if you recall, Smith has become a Virus - the very thing he hates: He absorbs and multiplies - consuming everything in his path without purpose.

    I love the fights too!

  • Chuck Norris kicked Neo out of Zion , now Neo is "The Two"

  • It's funny how at one part Neo is kicking his ass and Smith makes one move and Neo gets fucked up

  • This is the best fight scene known to man!!!!

  • you're welcome.

  • smith would be bitch to fight hard to take down

  • When ever someone trys to kick me when Im fighting I just use the move at 2:21

  • @NGTTutorials

Hobos in the Matrix tend to be godlike beings obsessed with trains if I remember correctly.

  • This is the best scene from Matrix

  • 1:20-1:24 Who's your daddy? (the 3 hits)

  • He's Beginning to believe

  • I swear everything smith says just makes this scene cooler

  • everyone turn the volume up to 100%

its makes the scene even better, if such a thing is possible

  • @supergamercreater and u filmed them while they wer fightning ,no?

  • 34 people got on the subway.

  • Is it true that there should be soon Matrix 4??

  • 34 glitches in the matrix.

  • @MrJasonrolfe Weaker from RE5, is completely identical to Agent Smith. Both wear suits, glasses, and are highly skilled in martial arts. Plus they both talk about creating a world w/o weak humans. Albert Weaker IS based off of Agent Smith. Chuck Norris has nothing to do with this BTW, I was only comparing the two (Wesker and Smith)
