I like the way I do it better.....more flashy. I can't post a vid (no camera, mobile too short for tutorials) though. But I cut with my thumb, grab one set with my thumb/index and the other with my middle/pinky, bring them apart, and put the mid/pinky set on top (the thumb/index was on top in the beginning).

so yeah...i get the top half of the deck to about to the other side until it catches on the side of the bottom half...when i rotate the top...i do have big hands but for some reason i cent get the top half to move over...any pointers?

Hey, I'm not sure this is the way the knuckle cut is performed. I thought you broke the packets off with the index then rotated them until you can take them with the thumb. Basically just like the beginning of the Hotshot cut.

After trying this out a bit, there's a couple tips I may offer to anyone trying this for the first time.

1. Pay attention to the motion of the ring and pinky finger as the thumb is twisting the deck for the cut.

2. Make sure your index finger isn't too high(closer to middle finger). If it is, it will be extremely hard to shift the stacks in your hand. I found that the lower my index finger was, the easier the movement of the cards became.
