great video to show people what landing on glassy water is all about! do you have the actual touchdown footage from the forward facing camera as well? I wonder if it shows the sensation of sinking below the surface of the water while still airborne...something that people can't comprehend without seeing it for themselves. Great video!
@kevinjthomson That particular setup used switched video pickups so only one could be used at a time. I've never observed the 'sinking' sensation, probably because I am focused on maintaining the proper pitch angle throughout the approach. And I have never been a passenger during a glassy water landing.
