I saw the 1964 show at the Holiday House in Monroeville, PA about 20 years ago, and they were fantastic. They still sound good, but they look rather ridiculous now; you can't really do a convincing Beatles tribute show if you are over 50.
Benson and Grimes started 1964 after being in Revolver for years. In fact they stole the entire ACT from the guy that created Revolver. They have been lying about this for the past 26 years.
These guys are good but i would have to say i went to go see Beatlemania Now and those guys were mind blowing! They were just amazing! They did it all and they looked just like the real beatles to! But overall they were both good!!
I knew it wasn't the beatles.... not enough screaming...I was there in 1962 the front row and you could bearly hear and i had jelly beans hitting me in the back of my head...Wouldn't have traded it for anything...well maybe to be young again!!! great cover band
Back in the 80's, in Norfolk VA, they used to do a British/Irish Festival...Uk food, beer, sheepdog trials, etc...as one of the bands, they had these guys. I'm tellin' ya, they were very good (close your eyes and you thought it WAS 1964!)
I been waching these guys since I was 6 years old. AND STILL THE BEST! And I just seen them this month in cambridge ohio Tom works home town and they was just great. Crazy thing is also they been together longer than the origanl beatles were! And the reson why tome work is doing that gtrmu is to save there vocals. Its easy on there vocal cords the beatles did it to and so do I. You really thank your self at the end of a long night gig.
wow. never noticed that. but there are many different ways to play something on the neck of the guitar. you just have to know your neck. that's why he is playing that differently
Tom Work is doing the guitar part in the verses wrong. The chord is supposed to be voiced in a D major shaped chord in the 7th position, not a C chord in the 9th position.

Ive seen these guys live and they are incredible. Amazing band to watch. Will be seeing them in Roanoke at Festival in the park in May.

I've played on that stage 5 or 6 times and its really cool looking up at all those people framed by the rocks. It's a little intimidating too.
At least I was behind a drumset. lol

Tuning doesn't matter. No matter what tuning your in, that's not the voicing you play for that chord.
