  • I had a profesor in my philosophy class argue with me that all religions before christianity are false becuase they are no longer followed, this argument was started because I brought up the fact that I was pagan Norse, now here is the interesting thing... While this professor was ranting about why I'm following a false god another student came to my side to help argue my point, but here is the interesting thing... this student was aithiest.

    How interesting

  • Really? Kill all the inhabitants of any city where you find people that worship differently than you. Deuteronomy 13:12-16

Kill everyone who has religious views that are different than your own. Deuteronomy 17:2-7

Kill anyone who refuses to listen to a priest. Deuteronomy 17:12-13

Kill any false prophets. Deuteronomy 18:20

  • @MyDivineTruth True Christian colors shining on through, I especially enjoy Exodus21. A great example of true Christianity. If they practiced what they preached they would all be in prison.

  • Don’t associate with non-Christians. Don’t receive them into your house or even exchange greeting with them. 2 John 1:10

Shun those who disagree with your religious views. Romans 16:17

Paul, knowing that their faith would crumble if subjected to free and critical inquiry, tells his followers to avoid philosophy. Colossians 2:8Really? Everyone will have to worship Jesus -- whether they want to or not. Philippians 2:10

A Christian can not be accused of any wrongdoing. Romans 8:33

  • Christians are not supposed to take their disputes before non-Christian courts or judges. (“If any of you has a dispute with another, dare he take it before the ungodly for judgment instead of before the saints?”-- 1 Corinthians 6:1 NIV) How interesting! Considering that state is separate from church all courts are supposedly “ungodly”. Does this stop Christians from tying up the supreme court with law suits concerning school prayer, abortion, or numerous other absurdities?

  • God is consistently depicted as the one who created the world and guides its history. He is not, however, consistently presented as the only god who exists - monotheism apparently only developed around the time of the Babylonian exile of the 6th century BC. Nevertheless, he is always depicted as the only God whom Israel is to worship, and much of the historical portion of the Old Testament is about the ongoing struggle between the God of Israel and the gods of Canaan

  • Imagine if Darwin wrote Origin before the Constitution was written. Maybe the US would be 80% Atheist today.

  • @elibeth121 - unfortunately, under most definitions of "god". The existence of such a being cant be proven to be or not be.

And the things that cant be proven to either be or not be are on equal ground with those things that do not exist.

  • @elibeth121 prove god exists, prove it's a "he," and prove that "he" resides in the hearts of humans.

    i expect a thoughtful response.

  • @shockoflogic Hahaha, you'll be waiting a long time for that.

  • Tales*

  • @elibeth, shut the fuck up. None of your nonsense bears any truth. It's all fairly takes and you're too dumb to realize it.

  • Where did all the water go after the flood anyway, do you have a logical explanation.

  • @1991stratplus EXACTYLY!!oh man ive been looking for those exact words for years hahahah, good post!

  • @reeceyhiggs Here is what elibeth121 was trying to tell me earlier, she/he said if i seek god he will reveal himself to me and give me belief in god.And that would reinforce my faith in god. So I seeked out God by saying prayers here on youtube and by myself, probably about 25 times now. And i truly meant every word of it, i really want god to reveal himself to me 100% and I will happily convert. So then she says my prayers were fake and that is why god has not reveals himself.

  • Comment removed

  • @elibeth121 I have prayed in quiet, i was a Protestant. I haven't been an atheist all my life. And I truly wish god to reveal himself to me, I only want the truth. Can you read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @elibeth121 "Yes, the path to God is narrow and few make it" What are you talking about??? The majority of the world believes they have seen god as you do. What about all the Muslims.

  • Comment removed

  • @elibeth121 Muslims are very hard core religious people, they will die on whim for god.Muslims observe five formal prayers each day. I know that because I have been to the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain. You need to do your homework before you make stupid claims like that. Atheist are the minority.

  • t is too late in the day for men of sincerity to pretend they believe in the Platonic mysticisms that three are one, and one is three; and yet that the one is not three, and the three are not one . . . But this constitutes the craft, the power and the profit of the priests. Sweep away their gossamer fabrics of factitious religion, and they would catch no more flies. -Thomas Jefferson.

    Such a great quote.

  • Thomas Paine, founding father, later in his life called himself an atheist. (A Deist at the time of the revolution.)

Thomas Jefferson, said that US common law was based on pagan and NOT Christian doctrine. Debate over... moving on ;-)

  • @elibeth121 Your only faith is that lies are truth and "evidence" is what you decide to label as facts. God has truely set you free from the truth of this world. But isn't that supposed to happen after you die?

  • When I was 10, my mom told me there was no Santa Claus.

Me: "Oh, how silly of me to believe that there was a man who I've never seen before who actually had a physical presence and watched us constantly and had the power to bless us with gifts!... Wait, what about god?"

Mom: "Oh son, don't be silly."

  • @elibeth121 Good points!

  • @SxVVxAxT Obviously members of the noahs ark sailing club.Do you understand the logistics of such a massive undertaking? You are seriously deluded or just plain stupid using noah in any god/bible argument.

  • @TheTomtuffy Ya, that was mentioned before and I was told that all the small details are not important and was just is not important in the overall story, ya right, and pigs fly daily.

  • @1991stratplus Yh Gays and people working on sundays need to die, jews are forced to be slaves for 7 years if they steal(LOL lehmann brothers would need to be the states slave which would be jokes :D )and people need to be married in order to be pure in the eyes of god are small details and arent important...so why does the Usa's crazy religiuos groups go nuts over these issues?haha :L

  • @Thelondonbadger

."I guess your happy with a child getting broken bones and spinal fractures at their important time of growth all in the name of your national sport :)"

What the hell are you talking about???

Reread my post because the point you are making has nothing to do with what I wrote.

  • @TheTomtuffy Even before taking on the logistics of the voyage itself,to have an 600 year old man walk across the entire planet collecting every animal from polar bear to kangaroo to lions and pumas is a ridiculous notion in the very least.

So SxVVxAxT,you really need to get a life!!!

  • @1991stratplus No it is not it really happened, it is not impossible. Nothing is impossible wtith God. He can do all things, he saved them because they were righteous and humble.

  • @elibeth121 That's great, show me the proof then, until then it is just a story, details are important it is the small thing that tell the truth, kind of like a detective, sorry I don't believe you, no matter how many times you repeat yourself.

  • @1991stratplus Little details that have nothing to do with God, is just an excuse to avoid the real point. You have to ask God to reveal himself to you, then you will have all the evidence you need. God is fact, the bible is fact, he will never lead you off the wrong road.

  • Give me some proof that he does not exist, humor me.

  • @SxVVxAxT This shit again? Go back to CockOfGod's page.

  • @RamoneHoffman CockOfGod's page. HAHA good one, I'm going to remember that.

  • @SxVVxAxT You have the burden of proof, I am not claiming god does not exist. You need to prove without a doubt that in fact he does exist.

  • @SxVVxAxT I never claimed the non-existence of god. Sorry i hurt your feelings, ya want a Kleenex or something. CRY me river.

  • @SxVVxAxT If you claim something exists, you're the only person who has to prove anything. We have absolutely no obligation to prove you wrong until you even attempt to prove yourself right.

  • And you say that you are not persecuting me and my religion. But you comment back to me with nothing but hateful things to say. Do not speak about my God and my father that way. You call me a hypocrite, call me a liar, a religious freak and then say that you are the victim. Yes, you have questions that I cannot answer and you have access to Wikipedia (which has misguided information as well). Read up on your history, Christians have been arrested, killed, and persecuted for their beliefs t

  • @SxVVxAxT I'm sorry you feel that way.

  • Comment removed

  • @SxVVxAxT Opinions are like assholes everyone's got one.

  • @SxVVxAxT And you cannot not order me to do anything, I will speak of your god anyway I please. To bad. Your religion is corrupt, and your gods an ass.

  • @SxVVxAxT I am not a victim of anything actually.

  • @SxVVxAxT Don't push your unprovable beliefs on atheist, you and you imaginary god will get your asses kicked every time. Unless you have some proof of the existence god your arguments are futile. lets keep it though.

  • @SxVVxAxT My Aunt and Uncle were persecuted for their belief in China. They were told it was safe to go there, but as soon as they gathered up their two month old baby the Communist came and beheaded them. Several Chineze tried to save their lives, but they died as well. You can read about their story on line. John and Betty Stam.

  • Well, I am truly sorry you feel that way. I didn't mean for my comments to be offensive. But please at least try not to offend others for their personal beliefs.

  • @SxVVxAxT And please do me a favor and at least try not to offend atheist for there rational thought.

  • @SxVVxAxT And I also feel very sorry for you also, very sad indeed.

  • Why are you trying to prove Christian claims wrong? Do you wish to save us from spending our lives believing in God? Why do you persecute us for our beliefs? Do you honestly think that arguing will solve anything? I'm not trying to change you, you are beyond changing. I am sorry for offending you in whatever way. But in the end, is it really worth arguing? At least us Christians are trying to preserve something we believe in, what are you doing?

  • @SxVVxAxT I am not trying to prove christian claims wrong, you are wrong, you are telling there is a god, and I'm asking for some tangible proof. No I do not wish to save you from believing in god, I don't car what you believe in. I am not persecuting you, again you are wrong. No I don't think arguing will accomplish any thing, remember you are the one making the claim in the first place. What I am doing is responding to your claims, that's it.

  • @SxVVxAxT You are the one starting the argument in the first place by telling there is a unprovable god, you are the trouble maker, you are the one posting on a atheist page, if you don't like conflict, don't post here, especially here.

  • @SxVVxAxT In history it was the atheist that were being persecuted not the Christians. Wikipedia Quote for you "Atheists have experienced persecution throughout history. Persecution may refer to unwarranted arrest, imprisonment, beating, torture, or execution. It also may refer to the confiscation or destruction of property."

  • @SxVVxAxT I am glad you brought up persecution though, get your facts straight before you post. if you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen. Meaning if you don't like it don't post, go back to your christian pages and forget it. I don't really care. But if you assert there is a unprovable god. As an Athiest I will respond, tough luck.

  • the bible says white is pure and black is evil.

without religion there might not have been african slaves.

  • @MrGaddafikiller The bible had nothing to do with african slaves.

  • @elibeth121 'The bible had nothing to do with african slaves'

But the people reading the bible did......and where is the commandment against slavery?

The bible mandates slavery. The bible is a compendium of myths. The bible is contradictory. The bible is sinister. The bible is occasionally poetic. The bible is incompatible with modern, secular democracies. The bible is infantile. The bible was written by bronze age incestuous goat herders from the only part of the middle east with no oil ! :-)

  • Comment removed

  • @MrGaddafikiller The bible had nothing to do with african slaves.

  • If you want to see Christian lies, read the book "The Long Hard Road Out of Hell" by Marylin Manson. He's included written claims by Christians who attempted to have his concert appearances banned.

Many (if not all) of the claims are absolutely laughable.

  • The beauty of faith is that you don't need to understand everything. I respect you and your beliefs, I am just here to spread my knowledge and wish you well.

  • I am a Christian, I honestly believe that we cannot PROVE that God exists, that is where FAITH comes in. We seek after the presence of God and it is our own personal experience in which we believe he exists. If we want you to believe, you will need to seek him for yourself. He created us with FREEWILL, therefore he chooses that we serve him on our own terms. He will not force you to believe in him even though he really does love you. Of course, in the end, would you rather live your life d

  • @SxVVxAxT You can believe all you want, i could care less, but If you can't support your claims with something that i can relate to or actually believe as an atheist, keep it to yourself. I am sick of you guys telling me I'm going to burn in hell, it means nothing to me. Your claims so far mean absolutely nothing to me also.

  • @SxVVxAxT "would you rather live your life d" What are you talking about?? Can you prove god created us, if not your words to me are pointless, faith is believing just because you want to believe and it makes you feel good.

  • @SxVVxAxT your statement contradicts its self, think before you print. heres a clue ''he really does love you'' 'we canot prove god exists''. deary me, you people really are sheep.

  • @SxVVxAxT Why would you believe something that you can' justify to in fact be true, you lost me there, your logic eludes us atheists, can you explain. Your own beliefs contradict themselves, you have faith that god exists, but yet you fail to justify your belief. I don't get it??????????????????????????????????????????

  • @SxVVxAxT Well said!!!

  • @SxVVxAxT Well said!!!

  • @SxVVxAxT Well said.

  • Ganging up on one person does not mean you're in the right. Making fun of and insulting another human being's beliefs does not make you any better than him/her; it simply reveals your intolerance and childish nature. Offer a point/perspective, not a halfwitted verbal jab while you hide behind a screen name. You choose who you listen to, @elibeth121.

  • tell me Elibeth, do you really think Morals were a direct result of Religion? their not, sorry to burst your bubble, honestly it doesnt take reading a fictional book for most people to understand somethings not right when they see some bully beating up another kid on a street

morality is not from religion, its from the human mind, same with sympathy, not everyone is the same however, some people do cruel things and never feel regret 1 bit, others do bad shit and feel bad after

  • gotta love people people like Elibeth121, they get logically beaten in an argument and cant factually/logically support their side. so what do they do? start quoting bible verses!

    like that MEANS anything

thats Fail if i ever saw it XD

  • @Lavos2007 You dont want to mean anything.

  • @elibeth121 i dont have to mean anything, i understand that religion is a bunch of bull, and i beleive in human potential and not in a flying spaghetti monster or other silly false beleifs, but until Religion is wiped out of every culture on earth, there will be countless young minds being polluted with lies about the world and everything in it and how the world was made and why the grass is green etc, until you embrace scientific/logical ways of thinking YOU dont mean anything

  • @elibeth121 So you expect me to believe that god made Adam from dust, and eve was made out of one of Adam's ribs, Face Palm!!! You need some help, if you actually believe that. Get a life already.

  • I guess it's what makes us all different. I look at UFC fighters and think why the hell anyone would do that? one wrong move and it's a wheel chair for the rest of your life. But some people it's all they want to do is fight in the ufc. I think religious people are lacking in the common sense department and just choose to fill the gap with some ramblings of an old book.

  • @OhPhilly True about religious people, but UFC fighters are actually fairly safe. True it's a violent sport, but there are far more serious injuries in the NFL than in the UFC. Not a single person has ever been paralyzed or killed in an MMA fight. Compare that to football or boxing where there are fatalities and people getting paralyzed every year.

I'm a huge MMA fan BTW.

  • @village1diot Your points are completely valid MMA is statically a much safer sport than football or boxing however there have been deaths & serious injuries in the cage.

Organizations like the UFC have great safety records & no one has ever been killed or "seriously" injured. The smaller organizations were the competitors aren't in as great of shape & the referees are less experienced are typically were problems arise.

Anyway I'm big fan of your channel ;)

  • Comment removed

  • @village1diot You must actually be the villageidiot as your account states....not a single person has ever been paralyzed in an MMA fight? Look up Zach Kirk or Jeff Dunbar. That took me about 1-2 min to find, please refrain from uneducated posts.

  • The only way to have a true freedom of religion, is to populate the governing body with atheists.

Any religious politician must be bias toward all other religions, and unfortunately people act in accordance to their beliefs. An atheist has no religious convictions, and therefor cannot have a fundamental bias towards them. At least not in the religious sense, he may have a bias toward religion in a moral sense.

  • Why oh why do people talk about a loving god and tell people gods rules condemn them to hell, this isn't the action of anything loving, this is the action of a tyrant, we have enough real tyrants in this world, we don't need another tyrant in the afterlife, I am sorry if this is what god is, I am content not believing it exists, I think I have enough to be annoyed with without your god.

  • What theists dont understand is athiesm does not need to prove anything. It is a rejection of theistic beliefs due to a LACK of proof on the part of theism. Theism asks me to accept what I cannot accept BECAUSE of a lack of proof, not despite it.

  • @smithcas86 Evidence is all around you. The resistance to evidence is what atheists display. The atheistic pardigm has ensured that you see no trace of God, despite the fact that his fingerprints can be seen in the world arond them.

  • Those who believe without seeing are called gullible.

  • I intelligently regect god by using my brain to reason that if an all powerful, all knowing god existed, he would just show up infront of the entire world and demonstrate his existance WITHOUT the need for faith. I would have EVIDENCE. If you think your belief makes you a stonger person thats fine, more power to you, but from your arguments, you dont seem to be a very curious or educated person. You can not rationally know there is a God, but you CHOOSE to believe. I dont.

  • @smithcas86 Couldn't have said it better myself.

  • @smithcas86 No you unitelligently and foolishly reject God.

  • @elibeth121 Yep. Fuck him. Fuck anything and anyone who would call me a sheep and fleece or slaughter me accordingly for their own benefit. I am not a slave.

  • @smithcas86 I am not an animal. LOL!!

  • @smithcas86 and either am I.

  • im sure christians who are not of the higher levels are ok.. :)

  • i have no respect for chrisitans or catholics ever since i became aware they molested children on a grand scale and tried to cover it up...shame....shame....shame...

  • Ok, I give up, you win, there is no convincing you. God is real.......and Muhammad is his prophet. Salam alekum infidel and goodnight.

P.S. Whales DO have hip bones, and they have them because their legs evolved into tails.

SCIENCE BITCHES, IT WORKS!!! (or at least it beats your "Magic Sky Man" theory)

  • Also, Elibeth i am going to assume that you are a creationist. Assuming that you believe that god created all animals in their current form mere thousands of years ago, can you please answer this simple question. If you do, I will drop to my knees and convert on the spot.

Why do whales have hip bones?

  • @smithcas86 I am not a Creationist, I have a Christian Catholic.

  • @elibeth121 Can you tell me how you "have" a "Christian Catholic"? Also, do you know what a Tautology is?

  • @smithcas86 How, the denomination is Catholic but I am a Christian, which means I believe in God.Yes I know what Tautology is.

  • @smithcas86 Your right he has no answers, his answers are "those are stupid questions", and "I don't about the care about the damn fish" stuff like that so I will give it up. Ignorance is bliss isn't it. Cheers.

  • @smithcas86 I think the right answer is no, and even if they did have them which I certainly do not care about. You fake conversion would not interest God is the slightest way.

  • Dear Elibeth121, I cant help but notice that you have no answers. By my understanding, God created the Earth exactly as it is today in its totality, the flood covered all land on earth, Mt. Everest is 29,035 feet (8850 meters) above sea level. That means the entire earth was under thousands of meters of water. Where did all of that water go? How did they not freeze or suffocate at such a height? You have no answers because it is a fairy tale. It. Did. Not. Happen. Period.

  • Fundamentalist Christians are some of the most dishonest liars and hypocrites I have seen. Pretty ironic considering their imaginary arch enemy is labeled as, "the father of lies".

  • @realtyofislam Yea, just look at all those billions of smiling, healthy believers, and all those sick sour pusses who haven't taken out afterlife insurance. As one of those people who "live in mental sickness, anger, hate, frustration and fear of cancer, death" I feel your "love". You see your description is nothing but a wish list. Thats a "real love" I will avoid like the plague.

  • If this were really a Christian nation: Slavery would still be around. Woman and children would legally be chattel. Rape victims would marry their rapists. Death row would be filled with gays, adulterers, witches, unruly kids, shellfish eaters, Sabbath breakers, and unbelievers. Women would not serve in any capacity in government or church.

  • @Akira625 So basicly it would be somewhat like an islamic nation?

  • @blackman6270 Pretty much.

  • @Akira625

I'm almost inclined to say it would be worse.

  • @Akira625 uuummm the "good" old days. Where it was GREAT to be a Man and Rich. It sucked for EVERYBODY else but who cares right. Religious people are sick fucks, I no longer remain polite in front of them. I laugh in their face at their own stupidity. The most reward thing I get from it is when they look at you with their neck slightly titled like a pigeon when they can no longer defend their argument. .

  • Hey ladies, you are trying to keep smiling and tried to happy but actually you are not. You are divorcees, abused, bullied, oppressed. I have sympathy with your problems. My advise to you, please try to seek God out of your personal problem. You people live in mental sickness, anger, hate, frustration and fear of cancer, death. If you want to heal from body and mind. Lean to Love and every one. Without God you can not truly Love you. You may show love but it would not be real.

  • @realtyofislam

"You people live in mental sickness, anger, hate, frustration and fear of cancer, death"

YOU need to stop hanging around theists (esp. Muslims) because you are developing a warped view of the world. This statement is so far from reality that either YOU are retarded, or you are a TROLL.

    My guess is TROLL.

  • @DaToNyOyO Retarded and Troll are not mutually exclusive, they are infact complimentary.

  • @realtyofislam awesome.

  • They are enthusiastic because, despite what they say, they imagine god is their slave because they see their faith as a tool to control the will of god. These religions aren't about faith in God. They are about faith in the validity of their plan to aviod the horrors god has in store for nonbelievers, and instead enjoy the ecstacy of heaven

  • @healdogtoe2c VERY well put...

  • @truthreasonlogiclove Well, of course God's in favor of slavery.

"Do what I say and love me at all times or burn forever."

Christianity is slavery, except for the constantly trying to get more slaves instead of escaping. You know, total lack of free will or thinking for themselves.

  • @Riketz Ask a Xian what their "purpose" is, and you'll get "to serve God." They KNOW it's slavery, and don't care. Indeed, they're HAPPY about it.

This for me, more than anything else, is testmament to the power of Xianity - turning people not simply into slaves, but WILLING and ENTHUSIASTIC slaves.

  • Christianity=Mental and Physical Corruption.

  • @sandcut1 Atheism- willful disobedience.

  • @elibeth121 What about my fish question

  • @elibeth121 Christianity- Pascal's Wager

  • @1991stratplus Christianity- Salvation- Hope-Love- Peace- Grace-

  • @elibeth121 How did fresh water fish survive in the Ocean for forty days, can you logically answer this question, some species can survive but not lake trout.

  • @elibeth121 Christianity-Willful deletions

  • @1991stratplus Atheism- moral corruption-foolish

  • @elibeth121 Now that I got your attention, you Christians are so predictable and gullable, what about my fish question.

  • @sandcut1 Christianity- Hope- Faith- Love

  • @elibeth121 What about the fresh water fish like rainbow trout though.

  • @1991stratplus Who cares about your fish question.

  • @elibeth121 I care

  • @elibeth121 I have been told i will burn in hell, do you have any demonstrable evidence of this.

  • @1991stratplus Oh yes indeed I feel the love from you guys. LOL

  • @1991stratplus Who told you were burn in hell?

  • @elibeth121 The last person who told me this was kovertkaos here on you tube, many other Christians like yourself have also told me this. This is used all the time by Christians it is called pascals wager.

  • @elibeth121 And about a week ago this christian called classiq876 told me I will go to hell and burn in a lake of fire forever. nice people you guys are, sheesh!!!
