  • This was the first time I heard of this bill. I am so very happy to read that the bill was vetoed! I can not understand why such a bill was considered? Why and how is it an issue for politicians as to what pets we can have or not and to decide the outcome of their lives? I don't even really like the leash laws. I remember when our dogs could run free and take a nap in the sun and follow you to school and wait all day for you to walk you home. Little by little, land of the free? or freedom lost?

  • if children are born after HR669 is a real law life would SUCK for them

  • HEY THEY VETOAD THE BILL YAY!

  • I agree. And it is all animals involved. HSUS had/has a big hold on this country and this bill had been backed bt them!

  • I enjoy my exotic animals. The Landlord won't allow Cats and Dogs so everything must fit in a Fish Tank. After a hard days work, nothing is better than looking at my animals. They hurt nobody and they are essential for my mental health. I suffer from depression and it would break my heart to have to lose my pets. We can't give these people in inch, because it will NOT stop there. Soon, they'll make it more and more strict and prohibitive. The same people(PETA) are on a national terror watch list!

  • @DireWolf1984, yeah, uh-huh, and the FBI had a file on John Lennon, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and Nelson Mandela. So what's your point? Anyone or anything that dares to undermine America's profit margin will be labeled a subversive threat.

PETA on a terror watch list?! Oh please, American big business throws the word "terrorists" around like it's confetti.

  • 669,the neighbor of the beast!!!

  • is she talking about birds or all animals? shes confusing she sould say animals or species....when she says bird i dont get it really

  • This bill didn't pass, but it was for all non-native animals that weren't on a pre-approved list. I believe the approved animals were dogs, cats, goldfish, and farm animals, such as pigs, horses, chickens, cows, etc.

  • Bob & Sarah: I'd love to visit your store. It looks fantastic. Too bad I live in MO.

My lovebirds were loving the bird noises in the background.

  • Instead of banning pets, they should actually enforce the laws we already have. And if they are so concerned about the native fauna, why not make it so cats have to be kept on your property (like how it is with dogs)? That would help the native wildlife more than an exotic pet ban.

  • If the businesses that make money selling exotic pets had to clean up the mess created when the animals escape and start multiplying they would go bankrupt. Exotic plants and animals are spreading and cost billions to control. The bill does not ban all exotics, it just requires that they be evaluated to see if they have the potential to invade. It does not effect animals that people already own.

  • Cats are invasive. Cats and dogs harm the native wildlife more than exotic pets. Not to mention loose dogs are more dangerous to the public than exotics.

Cat and dog breeders aren't expected to pay for the mess that OTHER people's animals make. So why should exotic animal owners have to? My exotic pets aren't harming anyone.

  • Feral cats are not a problem in areas where there are coyotes and other predators. Dogs are dangerous and should be kept on leash most of the time. Most exotic animals are not a problem, the only animals that would be restricted are those that have been evaluated and found to be a risk for causing serious environmental and economic damage.

  • Sure hope they put alot of exceptions in that bill, think about it ,police dogs like german shepards are not native ,most livestock isnt native, cows were not roaming the plains when the first settlers arrivedas well as many other animals we keep as pets, shit horses were introduced by the Spainards, what a stupid ass bill, the government dont think, dumb asses.

  • is the fucking devil actin becaause look the number 669 if you turn the 9 will be 666 mother fuckers politicians all of them sold the soul to satan

  • Welcome to Fascism..It gets worse. this is no game..

  • Comment removed

  • this law is ridiculous. I wonder who wrote it. NO ON HR669

  • One word, 4 letters....PETA.

  • That fuckin sucks

  • This bill is NOT DEAD! it is being rewritten: contact your legislator and tell them to stop wasting time on this garbage and work on the economy or the war! Stop wasting our money!!!

  • It took me a couple of tries to get those sites to post!! It may even post 2 different versions of the same info-- SORRY about that! Just omit the spaces in the addresses. I love these little parrots and just needed to get some positives out there after a whole page of negatives. I happen to have a pair at home BUT truly love to see them in the wild. I will go up to NYC this summer to go on a tour in Queens with Steve Baldwin.

  • Positive info on Quakers: brooklynparrotsdotcom,quakervilledotcom,qp-societydotcom,monkparakeetdotcom

Don't miss this study which states that after some 30 years of living wild in the US, Quaker colonies have NOT turned out to be the agricultural menace originally feared:

    invasions.bio.utk,edu/invaders/monks.html

  • Comment removed

  • The monk parakeet is an important pest of corn and sunflower, but they also inflict damage, albeit minimal, on sorghum and pine tree shoots.

    *Looks at Louisiana's pine forests*

    Kill the Quaker.

  • *Reads more about the Quaker (also called the Monk Parakeet) *

*In 1833 in Uraguay it was a problem*

Considered agricultural pest in Argentina for over 60 years.

Some attribute the recent spread and proliferation of this species in their native Argentina to alteration of forested habitat (e.g., thinning), and reduction of predator populations. (1993)

There are now thought to be approximately 100000 in Florida alone.

  • And you also got to consider the Quaker parakeet is one of the few birds in the pet department that likes to build it's own nest. Most need a hollow log. There are native woodpeckers that are on the endangered species list because of this. This would definitely keep most species of pet birds from thriving.

  • I think the reason this bird can survive is because it's tougher than the other parakeets, it has a darker green coloring that protects it from predators. Bright coloring alerts predators: hawks, owls,.... The other birds are not a problem. Lack of food.

  • Just looked this up on the internet: The Quaker Parakeet is outlawed in many states, including : California, Wyoming, New Jersey, Hawaii, and Georgia. The reason they are outlawed in several states is because they are considered a potential agricultural pest. There are now established breeding colonies ( originally escaped pets) in several states, including New York, New Jersey, New Orleans-Louisiana, Dallas-Texas, Bridgeport/Fairfield CT, and Illinois.

  • And my mentioning of schools was just in case other states have a population problem. Doesn't want my pretty city to think I was talking about them. We just got a huge building added to the high school. And we have super smart nice teachers!!!! *Hugs Louisiana* <3

  • Hmmm, well a long time ago quakers were a problem in northern states, and those were exterminated. That's why that bird is banned in several states. Thinks I did mention climate too. Florida is closest to the equator.

  • People don't realize that this bill makes the breeding of common pets like hamsters, guinea pigs, and leopard geckos illegal. This is ridiculous, and will not go through. They tried to do this a few years ago too.

  • Get over it.... =/

  • Non native people????

  • DragonKoal good luck with all those tallow trees...

  • If all the non native people, non native animals, non native plants & trees were took out of this country, guess what you will have here. The original natives, plants & trees. The original layout that our wonderful Creator made.Perfect balance of nature.

  • And to help support those facilities, why can't a new veterinarian graduate be given a chance to practice? Put in public veterinarian services to help pay for the facility. It may even make a profit. It would also increase visitors, so adoptions would increase. I don't know how it is in other cities in the U.S., but here some of the veterinarians are not seeing new patients.

  • Positive change??? Animal controls are screaming over number of dogs and cats. Take my city for example. One animal control 30 years ago. Population of people explodes in 30 years. Today still one animal control. Don't you think it's time to build facilities according to the population of people? That also can be applied to overcrowded schools. Wasn't change suppose to be about creating more jobs? It wasn't suppose to be about slaughtering the animals.

  • Animals existing in the pet trade in the U.S. already have a few known nuisance species. They have already been identified. It also depends on the climate of the state for example Florida. There is no need to eliminate pets that are harmless and cannot pose a threat. They have been here for decades and have not created a problem. Except the Quaker and it was controlled. (Exterminated) Most exotic reptiles cannot survive winters in the US.

  • quakers were not controlled. they have colonies her in fl and in ny and in other places. we have a colony right here and eveyone loves them. did you hear about the snake problem i key Largo? non native pet snakes have been released and multiplied, they are very big now and all over down there, to the point of affecting tourism!

  • the bill however, is tooo far reaching and needs to be changed. i can see a bill about not releasing pets but what is in this video is very disturbing. I could not imaginethe Late Leo the Conure (Kipp the Kidds video) not being able to have his free flight sessions!

  • Change???? You call this positive change? This invasive species bill is based on a species that arrived on that island decades ago. It's numbers are now such a disaster it has resulted in many species pushed to extinction. Not just birds. But the real disaster is it was just studied. I cannot find any hard evidence of the brown tree snake seriously being controlled. Studies I have found show it can be with trapping. I think it is time to clean up Guam.

  • people wanted change and now they are getting it and they are unhappy,

  • Congresswoman and Subcommittee Chairwoman Madeleine Bordallo of Guam (who authored this bill) said, We recognize the bill is by no means perfect and that changes will be needed to address various concerns before any legislation moves forward.

Andrew Wyatt President of the United States Association of Reptile Keepers (USARK) said that the hearing was a smashing success.

H.R. 669 is effectively dead, Wyatt said.

  • wait, so ur saying this law about banning all exotic non native species will not get passed? I hope that's what ur saying, because this law was the dumbest i dea ever!!!!. if they pass it , the only animals to own would be cats dogs, and certain snakes like colubrids and maybe turtles which i don't care for. THis would also put many pet stores out of business. If anything this law would hurt the economy not non native animals.

  • Hey where did that feasibility report on plot trapping of the brown tree snake go????

Put it back up, I wanna READ IT.

  • YOU IDIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Or is it those in the government, the psychotic PETA lovers ran that article in the Guampdn (pacific daily news) are just trying to cover Madeleine Bordallo's ass!!!! That bill would have killed not only our birds, but what few birds Guam has (I guess they're in zoos).

  • What the government can breed birds but we can't?

Madeleine Bordallo are you one of those people that just wants to keep all people from owning any kind of pet??? I know the government is also after dog and cat breeders.

I also know you put this bill in from Guam, because the people there can't vote your ass out!!!!

  • Does Guam even know what Madeleine Bordallo is trying to pass???? Does Madeleine Bordallo even know what she is trying to pass????

    This is so stupid.....

  • Continued:

The agency is getting help from a bird breeder from the St. Louis Zoo in how to properly care for the chick.

While the recovery of the species has a long way to go, this is a major positive step forward. The Department of Agriculture and others assisting in breeding captive Micronesian kingfishers and other native Guam birds are to be commended for their difficult but rewarding efforts.

  • News Article from Guampdn:

Kudos: Captive breeders to be commended for efforts

    April 23, 2009

The invasive brown tree snake has made extinct many of Guam's birds, and severely threatened others, including the Micronesian kingfisher, or "sihek" in Chamorro.

The population was once reduced to 29 birds. The total population is now above 100, including a recent addition -- a baby sihek that hatched April 7 as part of the local Department of Agriculture captive breeding program.

  • oh yea... leave our birds alone. They are not imported anymore and you cannot compair bird breeders to dog breeders. It takes a lot of hard work making birds feel happy and secure enough to see any chicks. And God bless those who endeaver in saving these species from exctinction.

  • Ooooo reads about Guam... so it was the snakes that got off the boat... I thought they said it was the rats when I was there in the 80's. My apoligees..

Sorry to hear there are now 10 types of birds extinct too. Peoples if you have any tricks for exterminating snakes Guam really needs some help....

  • P.S. To Guam: If you still looking for an effective snake killer, I highly recommend hollow glass eggs. It's an old chicken farmer's trick to get rid of snakes. They can't pass them.

  • The irony of HR 669 is that it was introduced by a representative from Guam. Guam has been invaded by the brown snake that was "deliberately" introduced to the island to wipe out the rats. *cough* nobody thought about the snake would have no natural predators *cough* . This resulted in the islands entire bird population being wiped out. I think maybe they should make this bill saying "don't deliberately introduce something to your island then make us suffer for it!

    WE LOVE OUR PETS!

  • If you reverse the "9" in 669, you get 666, the devils number!

This is so sad T.T I'm crying right now, as I own 17 budgies. So, if my birds mate, they will be taken away from me?!?!?! WTF?

  • to cdlver: do you see that big blue bird in the video? It is a Hyacinth Macaw. There are only about 6,500 of them left in the wild. And losing because of lack of habitat. Breeders in the US and all over the world are keeping their species going. HR 669 will condemn them.

  • my hamster just died

  • In the video at the 5:58 mark...You said the website address with a "Back-Slash"...

It's actually a "Forward-Slash" and if people type it in that way...They'll never get to the website.

    Just a FYI...

  • thanks! I always get that screwed up. Luckily, the video shows it so they will know I am wrong.

    Thanks again,

    Carol

  • No HR 669!

  • Please send me silly pet videos!!!!!!!!!!!! Mainly of dogs but can be anything really funny :D

  • Thanks so much for doing this! My bird, my fish, and my lizard thank you, too.

Section 14: "NONNATIVE WILDLIFE SPECIES- The term nonnative wildlife species--

    (A) except as provided in subparagraph (C), means any live species or subspecies of animal that is not a native species or subspecies, whether or not born or raised in captivity;"

    Stop this madness!

  • You cite Section 14 (5)(a)(b), which merely defines the term 'nonnative wildlife species' as it relates to this bill.

Nowhere in the text of H.R. 669 does it read that these are unapproved exotic species. The list has yet to be formed.

The Secretary of the Interior shall consult with scientists, experts and the public to assess the risks associated with species PROPOSED to be imported.

ALL Exotic PETS remain in their homes with their guardians. This bill speaks to future breeding.

  • This bill specifically says that other than the small "approved list" all other animals are unapproved unless positive action is taken to approve them. Thus guinea pigs, birds (other than the specified farm ducks, etc.), reptiles are automatically NOT approved animals.

The bill even provides for extracting fees from people who want to go to the time and expense of having additional species added.

If this bill passes as is, guinea pigs, etc. will NOT be approved species.

  • Firstly, the bill is aimed at exotic wildlife, not domesticated household pets.

H.R. 669 would set up a process for evaluating exotic wildlife species to determine whether they should be allowed or prohibited for importation and interstate commerce.

The HSUS and HSLF are specifically requesting that hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, and ferrets be added to the exempted list because these are domesticated PETS.

This bill is directed at BREEDERS who import, breed, and sell exotics.

  • Section 3(f) of H.R. 669 speaks to exotic PET owners who are EXEMPT from the provisions.

"This Act and regulations issued under this Act shall not interfere with the ability of any person to possess an individual animal of any species if such individual animal was legally owned by the person before the risk assessment is begun, even if the species is later banned from importation."

No one is at risk of losing their pets!

  • we need to help please help kill this bill please!!!!

  • Hey AMERICANS ! ! !

I'm sorry to say this but you've become completly crazy if you let this pass ! ! !

    This is so ridiculous ! ! !

    They're testing your endurance ! ! !

The less you do to them the more they'll do to you ! ! !

    WAKE UP PEOPLE ! ! !

You may have Freedom but they have stolen your Liberty ! ! !

When are you finally gona resist all this fashism ? ? ?

  • No one is at "liberty" to poach wildlife from their habitat, forcibly breed them in captivity, and sell such animals to industries where they are caged in disgusting roadside spectacles, confined in chains for their entire lives and made to perform silly circus tricks.

Wild animals are not OURS to breed in captivity only to be set loose in canned hunts, shot and killed, and hung upon a wall as an ornament!

Nothing gives these miserable profiteers the right!

  • r u saying that out pet keets or parrots should be killed due to the friggin crappy soon to be law??????? i have a keet and if she has to die i swear >:O

  • NOTHING in this bill says that ANYONE's pets are to be killed. All exotic animals in the U.S. remain alive.

Section 14 (5)(d) Exclusions: "any other species or variety of species that is determined by the Secretary to be common and clearly domesticated."

PET birds, hamsters, gerbils, rabbits, ferrets and guinea pigs ALREADY living in domestic situations are not wild species nor do they pose a danger to the U.S. economy, the environment, other animals or human health.

  • who gives soemone else the right to decide what is "common and clearly domesticated"????

  • The risk assessment process will be based on sound science, illnana8.

Section 4(b)(1) states that the Secretary shall form the preliminary list of approved species based on scientific and commercial information. The PUBLIC has 10 months to submit a proposal upon the passing of this bill to have a species listed on the preliminary list.

Section 3, 4 and 5 of H.R. 669 explain in detail the logistics of how the listings of both approved and unapproved species will be formed and finalized.

  • CDLver- you are emotionally disturbed. Your rant only exposes you as a raving "animal rights" lunatic. If what you say about all people who own, keep and breed exotic animals were true then I guess you would probably say that all human parents sexually molest and physically abuse their own kids since clearly we have all seen news accounts of such filthy despicable acts. Your mind-numbing stupidity is the reason we have the idiots in DC and the WH. Instead of being logical, you are hysterical.

  • Thanks Pocketparret for making your videos. Great job! I am mainly a reptile person but I do also have some birds. Doesn't really matter as we are all in the same boat with HR669. Ignore the dolts that don't have a clue what animals mean to a lot of us.

  • "The purpose of this Act is to establish a risk assessment process to prevent the introduction into, and establishment in, the United States of nonnative wildlife species that will cause or are likely to cause economic or environmental harm or harm to other animal species health or human health."

ALL EXISTING exotic PET species ALREADY alive and in homes will remain alive and in homes, unaffected by the provisions of H.R. 669.

  • CDLver- clearly you are too stupid to understand the intent of HR669 either. Why is it that people as mentally retarded as you, "obgynluke" and "andro-whatever" feel the need to comment on something you obviously do not even slightly comprehend? HR669 would ELIMINATE ALL BREEDING of any exotic species!!!!! Tell me...... where do the vast majority of exotic species that are kept as pets currently come from? Do you have any clue? FROM BREEDERS!!!!! NOT FROM THE WILD!!!!!!!! Now run along children.

  • That's right, exotic animal dealers cannot import, sell, transport, or breed unapproved non-native exotics as the purpose of this legislation is to regulate the exotic wildlife trade.

This bill does not, however, place such restrictions on exotic pet owners who do not engage in breeding exotics for sale.

Captive breeding of chimps, big cats, elephants and other wildlife for sale to circus sideshows will end. No more breeding of big cats for canned trophy hunters!

  • The list of non-native exotic species approved for importation, breeding and sale has yet to be fully comprised. Injurious wildlife under section 42, title

18, U.S. Code are not approved.

The Secretary shall consult with scientific members and existing data as to whether a species is or is not harmful to the U.S. economy, environment, other animal species or human health.

PET ferrets, gerbils, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, and rabbits are NOT wildlife.

  • I don't want to be rude, but have you read the actual bill? I have it and this bill is not meant for the pet in a loving home. This is for the the breeders and people who sell animals to canned hunts. Please read the bill.

  • I can't find the bill online!! Seems like all the websites for it have mysteriously dissapeared? Anyone have a valid web address for Bill 669?

  • bermudafile, the complete text of H.R. 669can be found at opencongress (dot) org.

  • Hey! "androclestipster" and "obgynluke"- you two moron-fuckers need to run off now and get back to your huffing glue or whatever it is that has melted your brains. Neither of you have any clue what this HR669 is about and you have no business puking your bilge here where SERIOUS animal experts are discussing adult matters. So fuck off!

  • "serious" animal experts? what does that mean? are you the kind of expert who inappropriately touches animals with your genitalia? is that how much of an expert you are? you do realize that youtube's comments are non-moderated and completely informal, so to say that experts are discussing something here is rather ridiculous. Alter to your implications, too bad YOUR brain has been too severely damaged to have stopped you from messaging me with something so completely moronic.

    Way to go ace!

  • Excellent comment back to johndelrio, the so called expert. I think he is the expert of rudeness. This is why the animals have issues, these so called experts. LMFAO.

  • It seems to me that by commenting back the way you have, you have no respect for humans and therefore would have none for animals. If you want to read this bill this way, be my guest. I haven't attacked you, yet you attack me. Who exactly is the one who needs to grow up here? Keep your foul language to yourself.

  • androclestipster, you are absolutely correct!

NOTHING in the bill speaks to existing exotic PETS already owned, loved, and cared for. This bill is about importing MORE non-native species and the breeding and sale of such species.

H.R. has the distinct potential to end the severe injustices exotic animals such as big cats, elephants, bears, and chimps suffer at the hands of humans.

BigCatRescue, DefendersOfWildlife, and the HSUS are in support of this critical legislation.

  • thanks CD. If these people researched this issue, they wouldn't be so upset. But maybe they should stick with the expert johndelrio. LOL.

  • this is crap...what a waste of time making this video

  • obgynluke:

Take your head out of your work before you comment;-) Sorry, just couldn't help myself.

You must be a very loving, caring person that has lots of animals you share your life with - NOT.

  • umm...i dont know what this is supposed to mean, but the video is crap and now your comment is crap...good job parrotdork...

  • I'm sorry, but, you will have to wait for your number to be called. Did you want fries with that?

  • This propsed act is too ambiguous and and is insensitive to the existing pet owners!

Let this go further ---- DO NOT IMPORT produce from Venezuela, Mexico, etc.

NO NOT ALLOW Chinese, Japanesxe, Korean, European, Malaysian imports.

    DO NOT ALLOW USA exports.

This sounds political and does NOT LEND ITSELF TO ANY SOUND REASONING.

    SOMETHING STINKS HERE!

    STINKS LIKE MONEY AND POLITICS!

    Cheryl M.

  • ya know people die, were in a reccesion and all the govnt can think of is pets wow just wow >:[

  • It is simple! One has to buy up all the birds and other exotic animals, and open a Special Aviary for these former pets!

This is the only viable solution to this problem!

  • Your are now in violation of the law and your birds will be confiscated and terminated. What you just suggested will be illegal if this bill passes.

  • This will drive bird sales underground. You'll have to go down to the waterfront or the parking lot at a Phish concert asking "Hey man, do ya know where to score some bird?"

  • But, but, it's the gov't. They love you. It's for the public good. It's for the children. How can you oppose this? You must be a terrorist. *sarcasm*

  • ROFL!!!!! But very well said!

  • Anther radical fascist bill I wish the congress just shot down they don't stop to make stumped laws seams like every week they come up something more ridiculous...it a never stop?

  • Either way they are trying to make this the law. That is the FACT,

  • HR stands for "House Resolution." A resolution is not a bill. Get a law dictionary instead of freaking out. Try operating with facts rather than emotions.

  • Our Congress S--ks!

  • The commies are in power. Way to go America! They will get you all soon enough so if you say "I don't have a pet" you will be harmed and controled in another way. Freedom was great while it lasted.

  • What will happen to Larry Bird? What about Big Bird, sesame street wont be the same.

  • I think Larry is set. Big Bird will be fine as long as he doesn't cross state lines or give himself to a sanctuary or another family member;-) Thanks for the levity - great timing.

  • A very accurate presentation about HR 669. The lawyers who have reviewed this bill have said exactly the same thing as this video presents.

Please communicate with your Congressional representatives and tell them NO on HR 669.

  • I believe this stems from the bird flu paranoia. Humans are becoming more and more retarded. Now birds are guilty of everything. Believe me this is really the road to the end. Sad is that they will not stop coming out with ridiculous laws.

  • These people are the same ones that want to put humans in FEMA camps and inject our children with Mercury. Peta got caught killing 85% of all the animals entrusted to their care. Eugenics for both humans and pets is alive and well.

  • i am seriously considering leaving here... there is nothing left here and next is to mandate all experimental vaccines on children.... all of our children will become autistic or cancer patients

  • Exactly right. Permanent clients (victims) of a sadistic pharmaceutical incustry. Hey but it's just business right?

  • people will wipe out native species, as much as many vegans will disagree about pets... pets have been with people for thousands perhaps millions of years.... as much as i approve of vegetarian or even vegan... i think vegans are horrible people.... i will not live in a fascist government, nor will i live in a fascist vegan world. I highly doubt this legislation will pass but who knows... they also have legislation to stop you from growing your own food.

  • Those that do not know the reciprocal joy of having these creatures in our lives should get an education. Birds in the wild are constanly looking over their shoulders watching out for predators. I don't know about you but, I would rather LIVE than have a shortened life because of being someone's lunch!

  • Yes, some birds belong in the wild, but you are wrong by thinking these birds should be taken from their owners. THESE birds will be killed.

  • crazee212, you need to get an education. Have you ever even owned a pet?

  • Good luck, sorry to hear big gov. overbearing behavior is affecting the pet industry.

  • BAN POLITICIANS!

The alien in the Oval Office is a non native species!

The only bill more outrageous is the bill introduced to regulate home gardens and you would have to fill out paperwork to take your horse somewhere for a trail ride.

These idiots have finally flipped out!

  • the sponsor of the bill is a monsanto pupet, her husbund work for satain it self. down with gmo and bigpharma

  • Just another example of Big Brother controlling the people. These pets are cherished by their owners, and the economy is bad enough, passing this bill would put businesses under and create even more turmoil for the people. Who comes up with these stupid ideas,if they want to do something productive put the puppy mills out of business leave those alone who love their pets.

  • The time is drawing near, which laws are you going to follow, the laws of man and evil, or the law of God, we are all together on this, but its time to take a stand or we will all fall separately, they are basically legislating our gradual extermination and we cannot stand for this any longer.

  • I think you may be being a bit presumptuous there Higuchi2005. How do you know what the people here say or do. I fight for the freedom and liberation of ALL peoples and beings. There are many of us saying and doing as much as we can. My heart breaks everyday for those needlessly dying everyday around the world. It is wrong to make such ASSumptions and generalizations.

  • My god.... The rape just goes on and on and on!

Take your voice, your guns, your gardens... And your PETS? Are they effing insane?

  • This week they plan to cancel the First Amendment. They also have a bill pending banning people from having a backyard garden.

  • this is based on bullcrap and pure ignorance!

Many creatures(including us human creatures) are invassive species that donot originate in the USA.the cow,the horse, the sheep, the pig,the grackle, the sparrow, the rat,etc,etc,etc..on,on,on..If this is going to be done correctly.all humans(none of which are "native" to the USA and all livestock and dogs and cats must be shipped back and band also!Eductae yourselfs representives and worry about things that truly matter-the economy,pollution,etc..

  • screw Iraq! pull our troops out and let em kill each other off!! Now who's the animals?!!!

  • Our governments theme song?

    Insane in the membrane!

    Insane in the membrane!

  • But pets are humans too! And those kids are going to grow islamic terrorists anyway. It is their own fault most islamic countries are shit holes anyway. Close-mindness cannot make successful society.

  • Thank you for making this video to help get the information out to everybody. Many people tend to think nothing this insane would actually happen. Well, as long as we are all informed, and speak up, and we put a stop to it, it won't. Thanks!

  • OMG That's a truly aweful bill.

I hope and pray nothing like ever comes to Canada

So sad. I'm hoping it doesn't get passed

  • i said it before ill say it one more time

    so people will get it

    REVOLUTION!!!

    do you understand?

  • America is being run by Communists. Talk about being socially engineered into oblivion. Screw Obama and the whole lot of them.

  • Our government has been hijacked by elitists who think they know whats best for us instead of advocating personal choice.

Okay, you see what they have planned for our animal companions, now go to inforwarsDOTcom and prisonplanetDOTcom to see what they plan to do to us.

  • The irrational and delusional insanity of those in power is so self evident that only those who are truly asleep cannot see it. I think maybe they are winning because they are now censoring and removing any comments that dissent from the party line.

  • OMFG! I wonder what the idea behind this legislation is.

  • lets rise lets us start a contact group and get things back they way they were during the golden ages

  • Our government has gone mad. They are trying to control everything we eat, we grow, we keep as pets, as livestock, everything we think, everything we say. Oh my, I'm sounding like a potential domestic extremist, aren't I? And they want to tax us to death to fund enormous bumbling bureaucracies to manage their invasion of our lives. Wouldn't Thomas Jefferson be ashamed of what we have allowed our government to become!

  • Anybody see Equilibrium?? They took away the pets...

  • If our representatives do not defeat and dump this bill into the toilet, then it's time to butcher off our so-called representatives.

  • Ok, so what hut case thought this screwball idea up.

    What next?

  • Madeleine Bordallo the US representative from GUAM. Seriously-GUAM? WTF does she even know/care about what goes on in the states?

Guam is half way around the world!

  • Sickening!

It's time for the people to round up the government scums and hold them accountable. In the most painful and long lasting ways possible.

This is total tyranny and control in every sickening respect!

If we have to burn them, BURN THEM!

    WAKE THE HELL UP PEOPLE!

Grow a spine and take your countries and freedoms back!

  • I wonder - they have planned home inspections for carbon footprints, is this home inspections for pets???

Sounds like a way to get animal control into the police force! and into our homes?? grrrr l,p

  • My gawd, just think, animal control with powers of arrest, etc.

Where am i supposed to empty my 2 cat's toilets at?

Some "special" new recycling program or something insane like that? A brown box curb program that we'll be paying through the nose for? Mail all cat box contents to AL GORE. ALL OF YOU. EVERY WEEK.

With Love to al gore the con artist and cat box content collector. ;)

Seriously. We need to do something major that will get their attention.

This crap has gone far enough.

  • Good video. This whole thing is a huge mess. I am doing my persuasive speech in my speech class on this and while doing a practice run during class today, and my classmates were so taken aback and were very passionate about helping to get it stopped. What has Rodie's actually done in terms of education? I would really like to know.

  • Another excellent, informative vid! Keep em coming.

  • Thank you!

    Carol

  • What a fantastic video and explanation of this ridiculous proposal of a law. HR 669, if passed, would be a fantasy come true for the Fascists of PeTA and the HSUS. They will have succeeded in using lies, distortions, hysteria and mis-information once again to the detriment of the exotic animals in our care. HR 669 MUST BE STOPPED!
