@Sepir29 Marlene did not went away! She went to the USA in 1930 for a bigger career. The Nazis became big in 1933. Then she already was a big Hollywood star. It was easy for her not to come back. Zarah got a star in Austria in 1936. She was well in the German language and therefore she signed an contract in Berlin. In 1943 she went away to Sweden braking her career. Since than she was forbidden until 1945. After war until 1948. I love both for what they did.

Ja stimmt, der Film hieß " Der Blaufuchs" machte die UFA im Jahre 1938
Regiseur des Films war Prof. Dr. Carl Fröhlich, der beste Film den die Leander machte war Heimat aus dem Jahre 1938 mit Heinrich George wo Sie auch Ihre schauspielerischen Qualitäten zum Ausdruck brachte, habe fast alle UFA KLassiker auf Video kann man auch heute im Buchhandel auf DVD erwerben.

'Blaufuchs' war der erste schwarz-weiß film, den ich gesehen hab und ich fand ihn echt toll. Ich mag die alten Filme total, obwohl ich 14 bin.

It seemed Zarah did not have the perfect movie -star body (for ex :the size of her hands ,VERY obvious in "der Wind hat mir .....")
But with the right shots & editing she came out as a TRUE diva
