  • I understand the composers' intention here, but I cannot overlook the fact that he chose our SACRED songs for his own benefit & advancement. This type of cultural appropriation is abhorrent cultural arrogance. I, myself, am a musical artist, a composer, degreed in music, performed on many stages and NEVER would I do this type of desecration of our sacred songs. Why? because I respect that they are living spirits that should only be used in their intended context. Removal & apology are in order.

  • BooZhoo !!!

  • Could you be emotionally detached at work and not know it? Sure, if you’re detached. There’s a party in your head and you’re not invited. slapCompany

  • This sounds so beautiful. WE sing these types of songs when we send off our loved ones the Everlasting Life above. It would be awesome to share with your group songs used to bring peace and harmony. Love and Peace..... Pitikomiganung - Ontario Anishinaabe
