If you make a movie based on either a videogame or a book your job is to potray the things that happen and the characters as they are in that said media. Not change it. 47 being a cold emotionless killer is what sets him apart from many other videogame characters; it makes him unique.

Games and films, despite both being of a very cinematic nature, are two different art forms. If Agent 47 was portrayed as an emotionless, non-intricate killer then the audience would not form any sort of connection with him, and the film would lack depth and personality. It would be akin to watching a video game, which is not what adaptions are supposed to be like.

A man who shows that assassinations are not fun and games (no pun intended). Besides I can´t really find any excuse for the producers to create a 47 so different from the one in the games.

The marble things were just to let him know if somebody was standing by the door, the explosive doesn't go off until somebody Opens or breaks into the door. watch the clip when the explosive goes off, It's when they smash the door in with the ram
47 in the game has a peculiar accent. He sounds British, but with a slight Canadian/ American twang. Just to confuse matters; he was cloned in Hungary. So I guess technically he is European. But his accent is definitely more British than anything (I should know, I'm British myself)

The lighting in the movie was too bright and gave it the wrong vibe, too much action and not enough complicated stealth elements. Look at the cinematics in the games and you will see what I mean...
One of the very few decent game based movies out there. It's still far from a homerun but it was entertaining and you don't get a shitty feeling after you watch it like other video game based movies.

the real hitman is thin and not muscular, this actor (Timothy Olyphant)is perfect, Vin Diesel is too vulgar for this role (for me!!)

They are AMT Hardballers, basically customized Colt 1911s. They use the same caliber too(45 ACP).
In the Hitman game series, the Hardballer is called the Silverballer.
