My friend has bird feeders by his window, about once a week or so, little birds will ram into the window and get knocked out, usually they will wake up about 20 mins later, sometimes the cat will lay under the window waiting for this to happen.
I called the animal rescue and they said that robins are very territorial and that it was marking its territory. It thought that its reflection was another bird and was trying to drive it away.

well, that is good. my dad told me that every time his boss cleans his windows, there are cardinals that fly into his window. are they the same way?
