by dumbing down any previous comedy talent they had to pander to the under twelves and then exporting the lot wholesale to the usa to do a half arsed version of something that was only a quarter or an arse to begin with.matt lucas used to be very unusual in shooting stars,rock profiles was pretty edgy in its own way but little britain and the spin off lunch boxes,stuffed toys and various other needless pap was an insult to anyone who has pubes and it was shameless money grubbing,i.e selling out.

You're completely correct, they have every right to make money from their art, and it is entirely a matter of opinion but i also have the right to catagorise them based on lines of acceptable commercial practice in comedy as set out explicitly by st. bill hicks. little britian seems deliberately 'broad' in tone to make it more popular, which seems like a concession.

I know this response is kinda late but I just had to make something clear. this is not how they actually view homosexual people. the guy who writes and acts in it is openly gay himself (Matt Lucas).... so I doubt they were trying to offend anyone. and BTW, my friend who is gay saw this and he was laughing the whole way through. he thought it was hilarious, not offensive at all.
