@Hells666singer It uses the same style like, everything restarts and they die all over again, but in this they do in higurashi they all went psycho, it's really good but watch higurashi first all of it, cuz if you havent you'll get confused with Umineko.

Oh my God, the characters are ugly! Sorry, but I've only seen the anime and decided to check the VN opening since everyone says the VN is better. I'm surprised how inferior the character design in the VN is compared to the anime (not denying the possibility that the VN could be better) because in Higurashi it's the other way around; I think that the Higurashi characters look way cuter in the VNs. Please don't hate me for what I say. Just expressing my opinion.

@SurvivorsOfTitanic You have to realize first that Umineko was first a doujin game, hence an amateur game. And more importantly, Ryukishi, the scenarist was the one to do the drawing, doing quite a lion share.

Furthermore, Higurashi "nice" artwork is only because it is its PS2 adaptation by alchemist, this is not the original game.

Finally, the VN design is a much better than the anime regarding expressions and mood conveyed. They are not eye candy, but that is not the purpose of that.

I disagree. IMO he looks just like any other male character in an anime, while anime guys that actually look like girl are found in shoujo or yaoi animes which I avoid at all costs. I don't see how the art is gay to you. The animation is much better than the the first season of Higurashi and other low budge animes. Oh well, if that's your opinion, I accept it.

So true! That's why the PS3 and the 360 are better systems than the Wii and why Transformers is a better movie than kiddy Toy Story. Everything is about good graphics and not gay-ass boring story.

This song is beautiful. It's a perfect mood setter for the VNs, if you ask me. Each one I read, when it came time for the opening, I got very hyped up and ready to read it for hours without a break. In short, I love this song!

I know they're by the same person, but why must people mention Higurashi on an Umineko video? I understand if you have a question about Umineko's relations to Higurashi, that I don't mind. But when people come and say "Higurashi is better", I start getting annoyed. If you think Higurashi is better, fine. I used to think that, too. It's your opinion, and you're free to say it, but at least say it when it actually pertains to the video at hand.
