I saw these guys in Sacramento. I met the vocalist who was pretty cool. I think they were happy to play in such a small room becuase they didn't have to put up with so many people.

This is honestly THE best Viking metal/folk metal band out there, IMO. They are awesome performers, they are fantastic musicians, and their frontman is THE SEX. Ten points for Týr.

I love Týr.. Saw them live in Copenhagen in July... Heri (The lead singer) is REALLY sexy! And they're even better live than they are on this video!

pol arni holm (short-blond hair) was the lead singer when Tyr was a five-man line-up, for the album How Far To Asgaard.

after he and jon joensen (heri's brother) left, it became a 4-man line-up w/ heri on rhythm guitar and vocals

Es war soo fett, wirklich schade, dass sie net länger gspielt ham. Ahja, ich war der Typ, der, als er gesagt hat: "the next song is from out first album: "How Far to Asgaard", Hail to the Hammer gerufen hat! Das Lied is so geil, es war kloar, dass des spilen werdn. ;)

Eric the Red und Ragnarok kriegt man beide bei Napalm Records, also is net teuer - support Týr!
