  • Make specified path for the plates and your good. the path can be slightly moved due to inertia and momentum of character.

  • So, the main problem is quite easy to spot. You should find a way so that it cancels out any previous momentum when you hit the plate, so when you hit it from the side, momentum won't carry you further into the wall. Also, it needs to launch objects straight, no matter how they are positioned, so it wont just spin off to the side if the corner of a cube hits the plate.

  • nice attempt, all you need is to make it so it pushes much more into the direction it was ment to be rather than just a lift, but all in all nice work reepblue

  • One thing I've noticed about these faith plates that's different than the ones shown in the Portal 2 demo is that in Portal 2 the plates at least appear to launch things a specific distance in a specific direction. These faith plates, although very good in both looks and operation, don't seem to mimic that.

  • @KirbychuHRD Thats because valves plate are a whole new entity. It is hard to mimick them with the things mapper use now. I know cuz i emailed them.

  • if you put a playerclip right between the jumps and had them inactve unless the trgger etting off the jumps was triggered, you could control the player jumps. for the cube, it's a bit harder, not sure how you'd do that.
