It is rare to find a cool minded muslim and I applaud you on it (for now). Ottomon empire had its own conflicts and were constantly trying to gain grounds in europe. There were no democracy in ottomon empire and thus no universal human rights. During most muslim rule, minorities are persecuted and ancestral traditions vanishes. If islam was peaceful as you mention then where are holy sites of nonmuslims in islamic land? how many are there?

I admire sufi for their musical way of islam. However, they are still hypocrites. They sugar coated islam and muhammad for people. This is evil practice. It is deceiving. Now sufi is taken over by other extremist ways and this will continue if nothing is stop. Sufi opened the doors for extremist and this is why islam has to examined. Remember before islam there were buddhist, jain, parse, hindu living side by side. After islam came in (with sufi deception) very few traces are left of my ancestors. In my country and pakistan, minorities are heavily discriminated. Recently, I read a hindu girl was kidnap and forced into islam. Where are those hypocrite muslims? you will not find any. why? because deep inside muslims want everyone to submit. This is another reason any islamic land is in shit hole.

Take for example south asia. My country (afghanistan) had persian, buddhist and hindu ancestors staying side by side. What happened? islam came in and destroyed almost everything and now people are acting like zombies. There is blood on the street and everyone think they are following a true islam. Taliban has strong beliefs in islam and try to follow muhammad ways of life. When babies are born they are innocent and have blank state of mind.
