Bah. Amature! You have to start your drift BEFORE you enter a corner, not during it. You also missed all of the apex's! This game was so fun, rarely needed to brake, you could drift into and out of corners beautifully with practice.

The game has some neat hacks too, such as the airplane that actually flies and the hornball, plus the wheelie. I forgot the cheat, but it saves it on the disc so you only have to put it in once.

oh tottally man! i was just wondering, cause like, those tires look good, mine looks like shit! k, what you do, is search 'vals viper racing' in google, first link. download the patch then hooooly crap, tons of cars to get. you'll have to get the 'carman' thing as well, so you can sort which cars to use. but yah dude, alot of cool stuff. people stiiiill play that awesome game, including me. its AWESOME. peace man, have fun with it.

I have a really modern computer, I can play some of the newer games, yet I still play this almost everyday. It is far better than any other racing game I have played.

I like to drift the warhead in castlegreen going 300 mph, lol unrealistic but very fun.

thats not much of a drift. try silverdale with the spoiler set to 0 0 and keep the basic tires. you'll be drifting for more than 75 % of the time.

There is a difference between drifting and skidding btw...

indeed there is. you can set your car to skid or drift in options-driving-embardée(my game is in french). put it to high and you will drift all the time. put it to low and you will skid.

I'm not sure how you define drifting, but it doesn't just mean going sideways. That's skidding. Drifting is where your front wheels face to the outside of the turn and your back wheels spin fast enough to keep you moving into the turn.

any tips? i have it on my two computers, on my windows xp one, the steering is crap, as soon as i hit the arrow key, it has already oversteered,but for my W2000 it drifts around corners, does everything perfect. but as for tips, settings or anything? oh, also on my 2000 one, when i press '3' it goes all weird (whhile racing) and tells me the pressure on each of my tires, and the G-forces and stuff, nice vid, good game, i cant beat any championships

Music is "Danger Zone" by Kenny Loggins.

It's a race against the clock, so no AI.

Downshift going into turns to spin your back wheels, and then the cars can move like this. It's really hard at first, and as you can see, I'm not great at it yet.

I love this game, I´m on the last championship and full of horse power and items, but It´s almost impossible to win with keys, with a steering weel it´s a little easier but not to much.

Cars breaks very frecuently even if you flat out and a bump it´s on the road. :S Thx because the advice
