Mamba and moviesbyMCG: while you are both correct, you both also seem interested and knowledgeable enough about space, that I thought I should share: technically you ARE weightless in space, as "weight" is an imperical measurement of (earth's) gravity's force acting upon you. In orbit, that number is reduced to negligable amounts. "Zero-G" is is an incorrect referrence as this implies that there is zero GRAVITY, which is impossible.

Imagine spending enough time in space to get use to your razor,shaving cream, and tooth brush floating in the same spot you put it,,, and then getting back home. Pick your tooth brush and out of habit you just drop it. Some basic routines get kinda scrambled. Still seems like fun though.

Blazofficial: hes right, gravity never ends, you have gravity pulling on you from every object in the room your in at this very moment, but you cant feel it. gravity is effected by the mass and distance relative to the object, so mamba, they may be falling but if you were to take away the earth and and all other masses then it would be the same thing as what your seeing now, zero gravity, so blaz you can still experience zero g =)

BlazOfficial: You aren't weightless when you go into space. Gravity never ends. What is happening is the space station is orbiting the Earth at about 17,500 mph. At that speed, the space station is falling, but is traveling fast enough sideways that it never hits the ground. You can experience weightlessness while going over a hill on a roller coaster, or even jumping off of a chair.
