@kayzi17 Whilst I agree with you that intervention could have been possible, you have to question the actions of the Rwandans surely? Just because you live in a poor country doesn't mean you don't know the difference between right and wrong. The act of killing hundreds of thousands of your countrymen, just because they are different to you, should make you more sick to your stomach? Ultimately the Rwandans killed each other and surely have to take responsibility for their actions?
@MrSyrett I think your tiny peanut-sized brain didn't understand my point. It's not your fault. I appreciate that life must be hard for thick twats like you.
@MickeyLove01 sorry - please enlighten me. what was the "point" you were trying to make when you said "what is the point of this video" in reference to a video that tries to document one of the worst genocides of the 20th century?
OMG i dont see how people cood just sit and do nothing aboot that im only 12 nd if something was happining like tha on rwandan write now i wood do ALL i cod to try and help the people living there in i know that sounds sillly but its true with all my heart i wood try and do something aboot it i really hope nothin happens like thiss ever again i watched this thing on bbc iplayer nd i was cryin my eyes oot i wood have done ANYTHING i cood have to try and help them i dont think i shod happen again
@Groundcontrolpress Yeah, it's a very good movie and explains the situation at that time pretty good. It was impossible to prevent the genocide. The UN did the best they could do, you know, helping 30000 Tutsi from getting killed.
what an absolute disgrace that the so called 1st world nations stood by and did nothing. i bet if there was oil in rwanda they would have stepped in. profit over people, it makes me sick to the stomach.
@kayzi17 They had nothing to gain from intervening. Sad but true, humanitarianism from governments is NON EXISTENT. Governments only care about themself.
I am a non interventionist so I believe that they shouldn't have gotten directly involved. But certainly I think that individuals should have helped defended these poor people and maybe supply them with weapons so that they could defend themself. I saw hotel Rwanda...terrible tragedy that could have been avoided with an armed society.

@kayzi17 What would you ask them to do? If they interfered, they'd be yelled at as evil oppressors as always. Interfering never goes right, it's not up to us to solve their problems.
how can u possibly blame this on clinton do u even know the circumstances he was under? the biggest mistake he could hae made was get involved. the genocide was helpless and anyone who stepped forward suffered irrevocable losses. do ur homework u ignorant fucks
like i said luv, no oil there so they didnt interfere yet in oil laden countries they break their fucking necks to interfere
