yes it does. watch?v=VZ3_-SbtOL0 watch?v=5Nj1D2y-PY8&feature=related the second link especially. that might be the single most beautiful song ever created.
I think they make it sound so much better, so much more 3-dimensional than the other songs.
Not saying the other songs aren't amazing in there own rights, but the vocals just add a certain something, that concretes the song into tech/prog/death/whatever-the-hell-you-wanna-call-it metal.
Good stuff.:) The new Amogh Symphony album, The Quantum Hack Code is currently being mixed and will be released before the end of the year. I played real drums for the whole album. BTW Vishal is a killer drummer in his own right.
He is releasing his next album in the next couple of months, now joined by tech death metal drummer Jim Richman from Sleep Terror. I was asked to do the narration for the album, it's very interesting I must say! So stay tuned kiddies :)
I don't know what you are saying. I think you got confused between Luke and Jim. Jim Richman never played with Sleep Terror. It was Dave McGraw who handles drums for Cattle Decapitation. Jim played the drums with Modulus, Malefice etc. He did sessions with Tech death band Arsis recently. Vishal and Luke formed Acrophase. Pretty different progressive stuff.
It's not Jim Richman on the drums. It's Vishal playing all the drums. Jim had joined Amogh Symphony after this album came out. It's Vishal himself playing the drums. He played all the drums in "Abolishing the obsolete system." Vishal asked Jim to do the drums in the second album "The Quantum Hack Code" because he was looking for a different style of drumming.
its truly a fucken compositn....we havn't experience such indian composition b4...i thk evrone ll agree me...hats offfffffffffffffff to vishal !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@HstfSengir its a totally diferente sytile dude... its hard 2 say... as u can hear its jazz... meshuggah is like trash-prog-polymetrics... both are damn hard haha.
@CafeDkP13 Oh come on, read the description. It's technical/progressive death metal. And IMHO Meshuggah is more death- than thrash-like. But stop arguing about genres, it's unnecessary here. I meant that Amogh Symphony is at least as complex as Meshuggah.
Such an amazing, exuberant and jubilant sound... coming from one man??? I know solo projects aren't a rarity in death metal, but in regards to quality, AS is the only one-man-band that accedes the call for intelligent, creative and overall timeless music.
"The music is basically a type of combination of progressive metal and indian classical fusing with the extreme brutality of technical death metal with respect to the groove of jazz and neo classical symphonic structures. "
If that is what this music BASICALLY is, I'd hate to hear the rest of the details. I'd probably need a Kindle.
@cvg1099 The rest of the details would be that the music comes from the local Euclidean metrization of a K-Fold contravariant tensor field structure incorporating micro-cosmic modal modifications and other highly ambient fusion matrices.
I was reading his interview.I care a fck about technicality but whatever this guy played in this album is something i never expected from a single musician or a one man band!!!Everything is well played, composed and arranged n not like some shitty riff is trying to catch every attention..Hats off to this guy.He knows his job very well.Though i must say.....I still prefer his music without vocals.excellent songwritin with perfect "Guitar playing skill" and not shred wankery....Fuckin sweet!
@fretlessmonster2221 yeah but i would much rathur hear vocals than that girl narrating the theme on the new album before every song....but this guy kicks ass he is an amazing musician/songwriter
I fucking love what this guy plays!!!! I bought the CD after downloading n listening to the full album....It's a MASTERPIECE tech death album with unique sound and insanity!!! Hats off to MrVishal J.Singh... He is Genius.
