But seals, you call in the seals you don't need a selection, there all trained all around no hesitation, you call in the seals there probably gone before they get the word.
BUT from the little things I know of, an I'm just using my logic here (the majority of special ops training is classified so nobody can say who's better) but I think SAS have better black op/killing skills then the seals, GB's and SFOD (you might know one of the units as "delta")
From my knowlage sas are trained hardest in terms of physical fitness, the selection process for the sas is 9 months long, and most of it is endurance and captivity endurance, wereas seals are more tech heads advanced weaponry etc

No doubt they are doing their job. But an oversight is necessary to avoid unnecessary killings where there is no danger. The case of the Brazilian national shot and killed in London subway because of mistaken identity is a very good example. Similar to the Brazilian national, Imagine if the SAS misidentified a suspect using racial profiling. In the United States Sikhs, Ethiopian and Egyptian Christians were murdered by vigilantes following 9/11.

Excessive force, British civilians have been kidknapped and are facing death. They do what they do to save others. In that situation anything is done to make sure the good guys get out alright. But you wouldnt know because you would never get into a situation like that. You wouldnt eve get selected for selection. Respect these guys for what they do. The hostage takers were armed, the SAS shot them to disable them and neutrilise the threat. Stop your winging you pussy.

The prisoners were holding ONE man hostage and weren't armed to the teeth with guns and grenades.
In the embassy the terrorists had many guns and grenades and were holding a large number of people hostage. The SAS's job was to make sure the terrorists could no longer present ANY threat to them or anyone else.
Also, the terrorists had every opportunity to bring about a better outcome: they didn't have to kill a hostage and had ample time to surrender. They chose their fate.

However, they could have been carrying grenades (on guy was) and in a room full of hostages, when they have already killed 1, u don't take a chance. Oh hell yea dude, there all trained to do that, and if not all of that unit, a selection of people in certain positions of that unit, like lets use SAS as an example, I doubt you'll have some random SAS assulter doing hardcore undercover recon like I was joking around about "hoppin in bed with ya" they'd send snipers/observers for that op or possibly even send there hardcore intelligence people like MI6 or something, but seals.....

But seals, you call in the seals you don't need a selection, there all trained all around no hesitation, you call in the seals there probably gone before they get the word.
BUT from the little things I know of, an I'm just using my logic here (the majority of special ops training is classified so nobody can say who's better) but I think SAS have better black op/killing skills then the seals, GB's and SFOD (you might know one of the units as "delta")
My dream unit is JTF2 though.....

From my knowlage sas are trained hardest in terms of physical fitness, the selection process for the sas is 9 months long, and most of it is endurance and captivity endurance, wereas seals are more tech heads advanced weaponry etc
