  • CHEAP TRICK SHIRT! :)

  • "This is one doodle that cant be undid home skillet."

Worst line in a movie ever!

Interesting story? Teen pregnancy isn't anything new.

Juno has heart with inconsistent unbelievable characters? How does that work? This movie doesn't really have heart until later in the film, around where the adopting couple break up.

I thought this movie was ok the first time I saw it, then I watched it again and listening more to the dialogue made it harder to connect with the characters.

  • This is one doodle that can't be undid, home skillet.

  • I think it got overhyped, I mean it's a good film but it just doesn't appeal to me as much as it does to others. And I know some people talked like Juno before the film came out but I hate how people changed how they spoke just to be like her.

  • I'm 15 and I listen to obscure 70's punk rock. But I'm a guy if that even matters.

  • 'That aint no Etcha-Sketch'

    lmao ;)

  • those 70's bands though were pretty obscure though :p

  • i am younger than 16 and i LOVE 70S PUNCK ROCK EVRYTHING 70S ROCKS

  • it bugs me that they r saying juno is not a realistic character because seriously i am 15 and i am a lot like her. most of the ppl who are not in my little circle of wacky friends have no idea what im saying most of the time and i dont rly listen to 70s music but definatly bands fron the 80s and 90s that nobody has heard of.

  • Juno is definitely realistic but the pregnancy did get a glossover, i mean no nausea or weight gain... made pregnancy look way too simple... and i like obscure music too as my PARENTS were actually of that era so that is what i grew up with.

i LOVE the scene w Juno and Mark where they are starting to dance and she leans in on him... i had NOT heard of Mott The Hoople but i did buy the song on iTunes

O and BTW, KNOCKED UP SuXXX!. it was stupid and lame full of plot holes and UNREALISTIC.

  • what there saying is no 16 year old can talk like her.

  • Esta es la copia de una pelicula koreana llamada Jenny y Juno.

  • oh yea, and the movie doesn't have heart for shit. "superbad" for girls they say? please. I am suprised at all the positive comments for this video because most people, including me, wanted to punch that actress square in the face after watching 20 minutes of the flick. when we got to the 30 minute mark, we wanted to knock ourselves out so we wouldnt have to deal with the rest of the film. ITS JUST BAD, DONT TRY TO DENY IT. BAD.

  • This isn't a reality show. Its fucking fiction. Attitudes like these are what is exponentially adding to destruction of film in the US.

Her story is a progressive political narrative from the left. If you think it is annoying or "elite" that's your opinion, but the writing and her performance obviously found a large and loving fan-base. Deal with it, and don't watch videos about stuff you don't like.

  • this sucked

  • any noise?

  • I'm going to have to agree with you XMrGrimmX. I think that Juno's dialogue was unbelievable sometimes. And she's the only one that really talks like that it in the movie.

The movie shows other people in high school with her, and most of them act like what I would expect from highschool students. Then Juno comes off as being a little too mature, a little too articulate.

I like the movie all together, but I got bothered by the arrogant feeling I got out of it.

  • I don't think so. Some are just really sarcastic.

It isn't really that unbelievable, it's just a lot of sarcasm.

  • First feature dramatic performance for Jason Bateman?! Helllooo ... Teen Wolf Too!!

  • ha ha ha cause we wouldnt want to forget that classic would we?? x

  • you know...I liked the movie...it was good.

The plot is good, because pregnacy is a real deal for today's teenagers.

But I really didnt like the lines, thats because I think it doesnt show what most of teenage girls go through when they actually get pregnant...I mean...Junos reaction was quite...odd

But still, I think the movie was good ;)

  • u ask if there's a character like juno? indeed, there is. my friends and i were practically carbon copies before the movie came out. we still are. eccentricities among "youngsters" are not hard to come by. sry to bust your bubble. and btw, underground 70's punk is sweeto.

  • it means you are really cool. you go girl! Stooges forever!

  • i'm sixteen and listen to 70's punk rock and am a smart ass like that, is that so strange?

  • "that aint no etch a sketch...this is one doodle that can't be undid homeskillet"

    haha.

i say that phrase like ALL the time!

  • i saw this movie and im 9=] i love IT

  • the movie comes out this tuesday!

  • hey i want to rent it but i have a little sis thats like ,9 , would this movie be ok 4 her enny one thats seen it ???

  • theres a few things that are a innapropriate for a 9 year old and theres a lot of sarcasim that she probably wont understand

so it will be awkward for you and boring for her

    haha i hope i helped

  • I was just thinking about how this movie is similar to Napolean Dynamite...both are quirky, original, and quotable. :)

  • Yeah, I can see the resemblance. =)

  • When does this movie come out??

  • Came out a long time ago there home slice

  • This is such a good movie!

  • Juno is nothing like Napoleon Dynamite; Juno is amazing, Napoleon Dynamite is pure garbage.

  • I agree 100%.

  • idk juno was better but napoleon dynamite had it simurlarites to it

  • J.K. Simmons should also get the credit for his role in this film even if it was relatively small. Great delivery from him as well, often comical and a father figure we could relate to or wish we had. I'd like to see him in more films.

  • what's crazy is he has only 2 nominations and no wins according to imdb! the guy needs more credit, and i think he'll get it.

  • Ellen Page was 100% better in Hard Candy. Now,THAT was a great flick. I can't watch that enough.

  • Juno is great, but you are right, Hard Candy is hardcore.

  • Listen Juno is a very good movie I can't see why you think it sucks!

  • At first I thought it was just another B-movie, but it obviously received good reviews, so I´m really curious about it. Ellen Page <3 Wow, she´s so perfect!

  • One of the greatest films of the year!!! Ellen Page shines. Absolutely halarious and sweet.

  • can u guys add the crakin scene?????? i LOVE that part of the movie

  • You know whats funny this Juno was playing in my town at The indie Theater.....for cheap. i actually forgot that theater still existed. Which was fortunately nice for my wallet but, it should definately NOT have been playing there. lol

  • juno tried too hard to be "indie" ... the dialogue was VERY irritating. i really liked her in hard candy though... brilliant fucking movie...

  • I loved that movie! Juno is probably my favourite character of the year. So funny and smart alecky. Ellen deserves a win for best actress. Diablo Cody is going to win for sure!

  • I couldn't disagree more. I think the dialouge was natural. I'm 19 and I was still that witty when I was 16. And the thing about people that young not listenign to 70's punk. You couldn't be more wrong. There are a LOT of Juno kids out there. Me and my friends were some of them.

  • If there are then, I'm not complaining. It is getting more mainstream these days after all, you're right. I saw "Shrek 2" and all the cute characters were singing a Buzzcocks tune.

  • Ellen Page herself is only 20, remember. 4 years isn't long. 70's punk may not be my specialty, but when I was 8 I could sing you every word Buddy Holly ever wrote. I knew more old stuff than my father ever will. Noone taught me. The "Juno" kids are just one more group in the schools these days.

  • great vid. i havent seen this movie yet but i cant wait to see it it sounds great. i give your vid a 5/5

  • the weakest of the best picture nominees but its still worthy.

  • why did that guy say it was jason reitman's second movie... because it's his 8th movie... get your info right before you pose as a critic. (though i do agree. movie was great)

  • It is Rietman's 2nd movie. The others have been shorts. Get your info right the next time you go to imdb and think you're now an expert, and try to correct guys that actually know there shit..unlike you.

  • i loved this movie!

  • i wanna watch this movie

  • alrite man... jason reitman lmao and the other dude is like 'i dont know this guy'

  • I'm going to see this movie this friday, can't wait.

  • that was a awesome review^^

  • great flick. GREAT flick!

  • THIS MOVIE WAS REALLY GOOD

  • good review!

  • At this point, JUNO has the best shot at winning "Best Original Screenplay" at the Oscars. But I completely agree that KNOCKED UP shouldn't be snubbed in said category (although it probably will unforunately!)

  • I thought the characters were pretty realistic, perhaps not the dialogue though. Still smart, pretty funny, witty, dialogue that really works. As much as I like Superbad and Knocked Up though its refreshing to see a comedy, a PG-13 surprisingly be so funny without being crude. Yeah I hope Knocked Up gets a screenplay nod.

  • Well, most of the amazing movies of the 40s that are deemed classics also had unrealistic dialogue (I'm thinking DOUBLE INDEMNITY and perhaps CASABLANCA), but I'll take witty if unreal dialogue any day over meandering nothingness that goes nowhere. Besides, Ellen Page nails her lines with a gusto and perfect amount of sense and sensitivity, it's hard not to love this movie.

  • that's a very good point- it's hard to fault a film for having witty dialogue

  • I think you cannot compare a modern film to some classics, cause classics were amazing when they came out, but nowadays, films are literally better, I know it sounds dumb. Just look at LOTR, it was amazing, but after that film every second film is full of hyperreal cgi, spectacular sceneries, great cinematography etc... eh?

  • 16 year olds like that exist. I think that may be, and you'll have to excuse me, but a generational gap.

  • I also think so, like why not :P
