Ive been to Cuba and it really is a beautiful relaxed safe country. I didn't spend my time there in an all inclusive resort. People with agenda's will always try to be negative about Cuba and Castro but if you've travelled a bit as i have you can appreciate the positives far outweigh any negatives. My advice is visit, you'll love it there

This documentary completely ignores the hardship that people must endure... It is actually really upsetting. As a Cuban, I am proud of our music. But a good percent of the "political" statements made are quite ignorant. It is so easy for a tourist to see things this way. Try spending a moth struggling to feed your family...

Watch Andy Garcia's movie... "The Lost City" about the revolution. Really great movie. Shows that there were problems with the excesses of capitialism (MAFIA control) versus the problems with Fidel's communism that was just an excuse for robbery of the citizen's wealth. Forced with starvation, Cuba had to start letting the people grow and sell their own food. "Limited Capitalism"....LOL

Ive been to Cuba and it really is a beautiful relaxed safe country. I didn't spend my time there in an all inclusive resort. People with agenda's will always try to be negative about Cuba and Castro but if you've travelled a bit as i have you can appreciate the positives far outweigh any negatives. My advice is visit, you'll love it there

The self serving Ameicans in Miami are not the one's who placed the embargo. I believe the elected officials in this country are the only one's who can make that determination. Then John Kennedy would have signed it into law. I'm sure Fidel HAS toilet paper & it's there for the tourists, just not the locals. En general no saben valorar lo realmente importante de un lugar, y es su gente y el espíritu; la tradición (como la música, los puros y el ron) -lo único que al parecer le llama la atención- viene implícito en la gente del lugar y el espíritu; y para valorarla y entenderla lo primero que hay que hacer es entender a los nativos.
