Hello. I just picked one of these up on Feebay for $1100.000. I know, Pinch me. What a deal. The previous owner had added a tone pot where the coil tap switch was. I found Allparts has a few flat switches in black like the one on your guitar. My question is was this a 3 position switch or 2 position and what did say the up position do, middle position and down position. Was it up split neck, middle split both and down split bridge pickup?. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I got this same guitar, same amp, wish they sounded like that when i played them. Love your tone, and great taste in playing, very nice.

People saying that 490R & 498T pickups are noisy and have more boost or more overdrive in humbuckers sound!

But your personal opinion its allot more important i thing than videos! What do you think? Are the pickups on Custom Lite have more clear and cleaner sound?

@lootsk these are not 490R & 498T (they are not noisy, but the 498 has more mids because of the ouverwound 13ko). This guitars has a wounderful clean sound.

It's very difficult to judge guitar sound by video and different amps have different sounds too. if i am not wrong - the Gibson Lite have a 57 classic humbakers!

For me - the way haw you record the video guitar sound cleaner and more clear sound than 490R & 498T pickups!

@lootsk yes, an old Fender amp has some nice highs and sparkle. The guitar sounds chimy too - expecially in the single coil modus.

Hello! I am very interested in this guitar! What do you think in your opinion - is this guitar sounds darker or brighter than new Les Paul Custom 2009 with 490R & 498T pickups?

Also when you turn on coil tap to single coil - what it sound for you comparing to other guitars? Some people saying it sound like Stratocaster on single coil? Is this truth?

@lootsk just listen to the videos of this guitar..... the 498T is a ouverwound 13ko Pickups with massive mids, way different...

Ther eis a mini toggle on the guitar in the place of the bridge pickup tone pot. Is that a coil tap?
