In one of the previous spore vids Will Wright states that each world is generated so the creatures on your planet will be fairly dispersed... (that made no since... okay then...) a planet can not have all carnivores and if a creature is a carnivore there will be an appropriate food chain where he can eat smaller carnivores and herbivores then him and he would be the prey to larger carnivores... lol hope that makes sense

No, sorry you are wrong. They have only changed the release once.(From last autumn to march.) The game was not officaly announced that long ago. However, this idea HAS been floating around since the early 90s,SimLife I believe was the first go and we have been waiting a long time. They will release it in march. The game is actualy finished, they are just finishing off testing for it now. At the very worst March will see a slightly buggy version released, but I still think it will sorted by then.
