  • am I the only person that doesn't have a problem with the trigger on this gun...

  • @savagenomore I think so... lol

  • Where is the range report on this modification?? Can you provide a link? THanks,

  • @JPEBeard Range report was favorable. I didn't get around to taping any range time and I've sold this pistol so... sorry. Trust me though - it works.

  • lol swords, people kill me with all there sword talk. All that cheap Chinese shit

  • Love the P-11, can't beat it for the price as a target practice handgun. Never used it for any other purpose like carry. Took a couple hundred rounds to get it worn in, but it shoots great now.

I'm wanting to get a new, flat grey polymer body for mine.

  • Crap, I don't have a pencil with a black eraser, time to go to Wal-Mart!

I like this gun for the size and have had good luck with kel tecs over all but it doesnt get much love at the range because of that pull. I will try it in the next week or so.

  • Can u dry fire it with one of those fake plastic 9mm bullets in it or does kel tec even insist that that is bad?

  • @Boston1775 I'm pretty sure snap caps are ok.

  • i must apologize, i commented, but I don't think you posted it, or you deleted it, I did some research and this whites trigger stop... does seem to sound very credible and I am going to do it! thanks and sorry i didn't believe before I saw. I am purchasing the green grip and practicing the ereaser trick on the old black grip. THANKS!!!!!

  • ahhhhh! Don't dry fire it man! I know the parts are cheap in comparison but dang!!! >.<

  • Do you think supergluing one of those rubber/plastic protective feet or stops would do about the same? I guess it may be a filing issue. So you had to carefully file and try the trigger numerous times to get it at the right spot?

  • @MPDIII

    That should work just fine.

Just about any material you use will probably take some trial and error. The White's Trigger Stop method is kind of a trial and error sort of thing.

I've even seen where people put the stop on the back of the trigger instead of the trigger well.. which seems weird to me.

  • @soldierfalcon no need to mod the p11 gluing an eraser is stupid its called a double action only trigger GET OVER IT also how can you not like glocks thats just not right

  • @tubevideoguy762 ::Scratches head::... uh... ok...

  • @MPDIII Yeah it's really a process of trial and error. That's why I went with an eraser. They're cheap and take a marker well.

  • wheres the update? how was it on the range?

  • Don't dry fire!!! Kel-Tec says so!

  • Interesting, my P-11 stages really well without any mods, maybe my gun or maybe just getting used to the trigger.

  • @gboyd242 You're probably just used to it and practiced a lot.

  • @soldierfalcon haha, I don't even have that gun anymore.... Bought a Kahr P9 instead.

  • not an bad idea, was hoping it was gonna be sumthing about lightining up the trigger but.......I have a question is it possible to buy a lighter spring and replace the trigger spring with a lighter one??????not asking about if keltec makes one i am asking if u could just go to a store and pick one up & will the gun still fire?

  • @arkangel8419

    I'm pretty sure you could.

If you were thinking of lightening the trigger, you'd probably be better off talking to a gunsmith, though.

If you really decide to experiment, just make sure to keep all the original pieces and try firing with snap caps before actually using live ammo.

  • @soldierfalcon The gunsmith I took mine to said there isn't much else you can do to improve the trigger.

  • Awesome information, thanks. This will help me a gret deal.

  • super glue?? we'll see how long that last...

  • @hutningnola

600 rounds so far. Plus it'll cost .33 cents to fix if I ever need to.

  • great video. Ill be doing this to my p11 very soon.

  • @Osokold206

Great! I'm glad you liked it.

  • Wrong MR....The FIRST thing you do when you pick up a weapon is ensure it is on safe!

  • @NoBodiJones

That would be rather difficult considering that most of my pistols do not have an external safety. :) I don't conceal carry pistols that do.

This is why I've carried Glocks, Springfield XDs, and the P-11. I'd never carry a 1911 clone. They would freak me out.

  • @NoBodiJones who taught you that gun safety?

There is only 1 gun safety with every firearm, its called your intelligence in combination with your finger.

I dont care if you have the safety set on every firearm you have, if you are so careless as to have your finger on that trigger when you do not intend to pull it, you will have an accident sooner than later.

  • Dont know if you know this but kal tec reccomends that you never dry fire one of their weapons.Just saying

  • Yes, I am aware. All firearms manufacturers say that. Just like they all say not to modify their weapons in any way. I'm not saying it'll never happen, but I've never had a firing pin break on me.

If I can dry fire my AR over 1000 times, I am sure 5 times won't hurt the P-11. :)

  • @soldierfalcon by no way was I trying to offend you.. just my luck it would not last that long, but wow 600 rds huh? that's pretty good bra. great idea and your right it's only a pencil eraser.

  • @soldierfalcon that depends.....the problem with the keltecs is their design.

That P11 is like my PF9, the problem is the "frankenbolt", this is the device that retains the firing pin, your problem dry firing it like that is the pin overtravels (no primer to stop it) and the cutout of the pin hits the "frankenbolt", both damaging the threads and causing a MASSIVE amount of force on that steel pin.

I would not suggest this on a CCW weapon, its meant to save your life.

  • @soldierfalcon last one on the dry firing, if you remove your pin right now, I can tell you that you probably have some thread damage already from that mere 5 dry fires.

Also you can dry fire a Glock or XD 1000s of times(like your AR), thats a completely different design.

Keltec states that you should NEVER do this due to the design they have implemented.

  • Thanks for posting the video. It is a great resource. Actually, until you demonstrated it, I didn't completely understand the usefulness for this mod.

  • If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

  • It's a good thing everyone doesn't feel that way, or computers would have never been invented and we'd all still be using typewriters.
