you don't need an episiotomy to deliver a breech baby, you just need competent doctors or midwives who can teach you muscle stretching techniques weeks ahead of time so you dont have to worry about cutting or even tearing during delivery.

Thanks for posting this! The dr. gave the mom an episiotomy because she was having a vaginal breech! Vaginal breeches are unheard of in the US hospital system. All breeches in the U.S. are delivered by c-section unless they're delivered at home by a midwife.
