Always assumed ambulation was a long term tease, not anything they were really going to do. If they do it, and as this video implies, you can things done in ambulation other than socialize, it'll be pretty cool.

For someone who is just a jumpclone, spend all day in a pod and never moves... this character is quite in good shape :) ( musvle wise ) ^^

@Darknight670 Indeed... though maybe not a jump clone. maybe a just a pilot (clone #X) as all the market stuff is automated, you don't have to get out of the ship. and all you see is the ships computers. I have Always assumed that the characters moved out of the ship occasionally, even if not a playable part....guess not :S lol

if you don't play eve, you wouldn't get it. almost all the pilots spend their entire life's in their pods. They almost never leave. Most get a psychological need of their pods

@ameyer1970 I mentioned this before but i'll say it again...I didn't know that the characters always stayed in the pod... I assumed they move around as not a playable part of it. ahwell. :P

@g0r3g4sm Actually it will... thats why CCP have been pushing the release of walk in stations off for so long... they had planned this years ago, but have been working with the technology to make it look right.

I was in Iceland for last year's Fanfest, and I can say that Incarna at that time looked ALMOST that good in-game. The textures and shaders look straight out of the demo I played. The character is much higher-poly, though.
